Hello Jack, Thank you for sharing. I think something about the video come up a little wrong that you didn't the person who talked to her was her grandma. Due to some crazy attack on internet towards her, Ziqi has to play a low -key and remains a solitude from being much public unless it needs. She has stayed with her grandma since a few years ago. Whenever and wherever she comes back home, the person who greets her is her beloved grandma. Definitely the one talked to her was her precious grandma. It may be anticipatable to the cultural difference that makes misunderstanding. However I am so proud of you and your pretty mother are so interested in Chinese traditional culture via watching Ziqi work. She decided to trade her remainders of the silk with the sheep herder in the mountain from which made the quilt for her grandma in the previous. People live in the high country often time do barter with each, such as trade with rice with peanuts, or trade with some grams of sugar with a half-day work..so on and on. Ziqi did such business with the old herder (from his voice I pick up his age) as well so that she could have some crude wool, as you seen that it took a lot of precesses to refine them for the beautiful woolen cloak. Her videos inspire people for what simple, organic and natural life looks like in the rare country in China which has been further from us, whom have been thrown off because of so called "modernization."
