I’m a old school player and I feel bad for all the new players but at the same time they gotta get the same treatment we had to go thru coming up. I know everything to this game I’m mainly a rush down mag player but lately I’ve been working on defense/ patience/ fundamentals. What I’ve noticed is when some are against a magneto the first thing they do is run or work the skies so being patient has been working best for me cause all I need is 1 hit with mag 😅

Been a while since I played anything, but I prefer a korean bat top for tekken, Japanese bat top or whatever they had in my arcade for mvc2, then a ball top for mvc3 and street fighter. Circle gate for the Korean bat top and if i remember correctly, octagon for the rest.

When doing the ROM, how many players consistently do the tri jump short? Instead of doing the superjump short short going up. That seems hella fast.

I have a MAS Stick that has a Dreamcast chord and a PS1 Chord hanging out. Thanks to the PS2 port, all I need to do is hook up a Brook Super Converter PS2 to PS4 model and I can use it on Playstation 4. Side note: Brook's coming out with a Wingman PS2 to PS5 version!!!!! I WILL be getting that when it comes out.

Has nothing to do with MAS sticks. It comes down to the Wico levers used being optical. You can't buy those anymore so you gotta get iL which feels close but still different. Japanese buttons are superior for this game though because you can brush your whole hand across for super mashing. Give it a shot. I hate standard springs in Japanese levers. Try putting in a heavier spring for more tension.

@@tokyobassist You can put any kind of stick in a MAS. Some have P360, some have comp stick, and newer ones use iL. The last time I tried to play Marvel on a candy cab I pressed lp right through the control panel. Those components just don't hold up when I start mashing on them and it just doesn't feel right to me.

Yipes learning to play MvC2 is gold! 😂 Crazy how much a new controller makes, as i just switched to leverless recently for all fighters too. While there is a (huge) learning curve, it does feel good (Plus, fun to re-wire my left hand for finger inputs. Hard to explain)

Probably before your time. They came out in the 90s, I had one in the early 2000s. It's a Hardcore , American built arcade stick made with top grade American arcade parts. Mine had Happ perfect 360 stick (optical, no switches) and happ super competition convex buttons. MAS stood for "multi arcade system"
