In 1940 Francis Germanier, one of three sons of the founder, decided to plant on the family land a variety of pear called William. Five years later a violent storm struck the plain of the Rhone leaving after its passage devastated plantations. Francis did not lose his will, reaped ruined fruits from the ground and decided to use them for distillation. What we got was a Brandy with smooth and pleasant taste. There is a limited series with pear William, grew up in the bottle placed on the bud. It has an alcohol volume of approximately 43%.
