Any ideas on how to translate the nuclear trigram Wind, surrounded by Wind? I'm trying to understand how the 33rd hexagram "Retreat" might pertain to spiritual advancement in my life, and I think I've been able to connect the rest of the meanings, but I'm totally confused by wind in wind.

With Wind being enveloped by Wind, you might risk the chance that your path ignores small steps, small advancement, and that you only focus on the big and very apparent steps that you are making. Wind is about small steps, long-term planning, communicating and investigating in a very gentle, non-intrusive way. The little things might appear unimportant to you, but little things can be like the sand in the motor the puts all movement to a halt. When it is required of you to pay attention to those little seemingly insignificant details, you tend to delay the decision to do that - you procrastinate and will find excuses to focus on things that in your mind are Really Important: Wind is being enveloped by Wind. A grain of sand contains the whole world, and is not less important than the mountains that you can't ignore.
