I've always wanted to learn piano. Do people learn this by memorizing the pattern or do they know which keys to press intuitively??

Your hands memorize it if you repeat it hundreds of times and you don't have to think about it that much after that. It's basically muscle memory, maybe like driving a car.

but it depends doe like if u just wanna play for fun there’s no problem in learning by just repeating a lot of times and get it memorable in ur muscles but if u wanna be a good musician it’s always good to really learn the notes and the chords and know what ur doing yk

You should learn bro. Very cathartic once you get the hang of it. Also some people can read sheet music (I can’t) while others practice it so much that it becomes muscle memory
