Ylvis in "Who can beat Aamodt and Kjus" 2010

A great episode of the game show "Hvem kan slå Aamot og Kjus"(Who can beat Aamodt and Kjus). The Ylvis brothers are competing in various disciplines against the former alpine skiing champions Lasse Kjus and Kjetil Andre Aamodt.
Ylvis hosted the first season of this show in 2009. Then it was called "Hvem kan slå Ylvis" (Who can beat Ylvis?). It is based on the German show Schlag den Raab (Beat Raab).

With half a minute to go of the last competition I didn't really see Vegard winning. But wow he was sharp in the last part of it...

I don't know a single word in Norwegian, but I'm watching it anyway... it's really entertaining. to me the language sounds a bit like a mixture of Dutch and Italian :D

Dutch and Italian? if anything it's between Dutch, German, Swedish, and Danish and some English... well that's what it sounds like to me as somebody that speaks Norwegian, French, English, Spanish (central America (guatemala)) and German :P

Italian has the same vowel sounds as us, so it's not far fetched. And Bergen r is like dutch g in some ways.

Can someone explain the challenge with the playing cards please

(Spoiler alert) They get a deck of cards each and one card, the same card, is missing in both decks. Their challenge is to find out which card is missing. The one who think they know which card is missing rings the bell, but if you guess the wrong one, the competitor will win. They are not allowed to put any cards on the table (or in the mouth, or any other place) they are just allowed to hold them in their hands. Vegard hits the bell first and says five of clubs. Lasse says he thought it was ten of hearts. Vegard says "Show me the five of clubs then". Lasse finds both ten of hearts and the five of clubs in the deck. It was the eight of hearts and Vegard loses. (Vegard was probably looking for the joker from another deck, impossible to spot...)
