Point is , it's not rebellious! Like Hen Wlad Fy Nhadau it's not about fighting or killing others, it's about survival. It just says that we will go on despite what anyone else can throw at us. By the way it works well with a single female voice as well as 30 thousand Welsh football fans singing!
@revpgesqredux2 жыл бұрын
@@octaviusroosevelt7355 when someone asked JRR Tolkien why he felt like he had to write a mythology for England when there was Arthur, he said that Arthur was really for Wales and of Wales, because he is. The whole Arthurian Outlook and demeanor fit much better as Welsh than English. If the English build a round table they're going to conspire with the Continentals to run you over with it.

It's Welsh, mate. From the country of Wales. The oldest surviving language in Britain and maybe Europe. If you're North American it may be confusing as you tend to say "England" when you mean "Britain" or "United Kingdom". This is a patriotic song for Wales and in English it means "We're Still Here" and refers to the survival of Welsh culture and language.
