We visited an exhibition called Celtica in Macclyneth ìn 1997, and they played this song as you left. I had many many caravan holidays in Llangym in the 70s & 80s & love the place. About 6 years ago I got diagnosed with an illness that will finish me if I don't take a pile of meds every day. I'm English but I loves Wales, and I love this song which has stirred me for 25 years. And to my illness - I'm still here too.

I'm a Yorkshire man living in south Wales and I get goosebumps listening to this and the welsh anthem, a very proud nation. They punch way above there weight when it comes to their religion, rugby. We have a peak in Yorkshire called Pen Y Ghent and I believe the northern Welsh kings had there territory all the way into Yorkshire. It isn't surprising given the welsh are the original brits.

I'm Finnish so it's unlikely I'll ever learn Welsh, but I love this song and the language. I first heard it at Parc Y Scarlets last year, they played it many times because the Scarlets scored 9 tries v Ospreys, and people sitting behind me were singing this every time. My favourite Welsh language song! As a monolingual English speaker I can't get enough of it!
