If you think about it, The Attack Titan is probably the little will of Ymir to rebel against King Fritz, but because she's too attached to him (Stockholm Syndrome), she just couldn't do it by herself, that's why she gives the successor of The Attack Titan a will to free her (Eren Jaeger) 2000 years later, hence why The Attack Titan goal is to seek freedom (for her) and never obeying the self-righteous king

The funny thing is the parasite did exist irl and when you google it, it's a funny mix of the science community, aot fans or both. 😂 Isayama was able to make the Hallucigenia as a metaphor for the source of organic material and it kind of mirrors and symbolizes the apple from the drawing in Historia's book. All jokes aside though, it's really sad how both Ymir Fritz and Freckled Ymir were willing to give up their lives and happiness for other people. They were both used for some grand goal and then tossed aside when they weren't needed anymore. And they both deserved better tbh. Both Eren and Zeke were amazing this episode. Knocked it out of the park. Also, just imagine being Gabi. You thought you saved the rest of the world. But a spine like creature grows out of the back of Eren's head, he gains another health bar and enters another form. What is this, a Dark Souls boss? And now he's going to do nothing but keep moving forward. Flatten everything. Everyone. Until his enemies are destroyed. No matter who they may be.

@Silk Sonic Zeke's plan was not better, first if you think that the whole eldian race should have gone extinct just due their history and because they have the power to turn into Titans,this is wrong for 2 reasons. except for 9 people, every single eldian can't turn into a Titan unless some serum is put into them and to make the whole race go extinct due to that is just wrong, then there is also the fact that the eldians of paradise were willing to live in peace with marley while marley was hell bent on getting the founding titan just for military might(this is before the attack of eren, which was also done by him because he knew marley would never make peace. Zeke's plan also relies on one basis that for some reason after they are not allowed to reproduce marley would not still see them as devil's and would not kill them,which is highly unlikely. The best solution is obviously peace for both sides as both genocide and the extinction of a whole race is wrong, but in the circumstances that were there, i would think the best thing to do was to just use the Titans of one wall to defend paradise against marley, as Armin was expecting eren to do at first.Then buy time to ally with other nations with the help of the easterners. Now this plan also relies heavily on the chance as the other Nations might get scared that the rumbling has started and so would forever avoid any peace talks, but it's the best idea that comes to mind.

I love everything about the mysterious origin-of-the-Titans-creature-thing. I love how it was this benevolent(maybe??) *something* that helped a poor gal out, but its almighty power (and, I guess, very body) got mutilated and diluted over centuries to the point that the pure titans aren't even sentient, just raw power and a single command ("Eat, my daughters!") given form, all because of one disgusting human's pride. Imagine Ymir had to create every titan that exists in th real world she had to create the millions of Clossal Titans and the pure titans too all of that with her little hands and bucket and she had all the time of the world to do it because in the realm she is in time is eternal and instantaneous, in other words she is the one that created every titan that transformed in the real world ( creating titans needed time but she had an infinite amount of it and she wasn’t late because everything she does appears instantaneously in the real world

Eren is the only non-royal person in history to ever enter the paths so he is definitely the only one able to convince Ymir to fully express herself. She is not a kid, not even human considering how much her mind has been through, she is basically an enslaved god used by royalty to keep their power and the only human being capable of breaking that tradition of mistreating her is Eren. I mean, the paths are literally a punishment for her, she has been building these fucking monstrous creatures out of sand for hundreds of years, she is in her right to hate humans.

@Silk Sonic I’m not here to argue morality but I will say Zeke’s plan would do absolutely nothing to make the rest of the world stop fearing The Eldians. They could get rid of the Titan powers but they would still be nuked because no one would believe that they actually dont have them anymore. The Eldians are 1 UN General assembly away from being Hiroshima’d…titans or no titans. All Zeke’s plan would succeed in doing is leave them defenseless when the rest of the world EVENTUALLY UNDOUBTEDLY attacks them Am I saying it’s right or justified? Absolutely not! But if there is literally no in left alive to attack your people…they’ll be safe (which is the point of my original comment 😬)

BTW, I know this episode is supposed to feel like the liberation of Ymir from her slavers of 2.000 years. But she ended up helping Eren doing what the very first king would've wanted anyway. "To terrorize the world with its monstrosities." That was King Fritz's wish. And now Eren is doing exactly that (his intention is to protect his friends, yes), but the results will be the same nonetheless. I guess once you're a slave, you can't escape your fate.
