Only Suda can make a game where Diversity is a recurring enemy in a videogame. I'm glad that Suda51 does not give two sh**s if you haven't played The Silver Case, Travis Strikes Again, or any of his previous games, and yet he still puts every important references here (like how Bad Girl is alive again). That Scarlet Cat and Kamui cameo was awesome. Also, Suda definitely got robbed with the last phase of that final boss fight. If Bayonetta got in Smash, why not Travis? Instead all we got was that Mii Swordfighter costume.

I played No More Heroes 2 again and it was actually a lot better than I remember. It gives the most insight into Sylvia's character we ever get throughout all of the games and has some pretty great fights. (Margaret is my favorite in the entire franchise)

There's a lot I really love about 3 but there's a lot I REALLY didn't like. For one it's pretty obvious the game was visually scaled down for the Switch (I think the ports were announced months after the original shipment) and my biggest complaint... No collectable clothes except shirts and no other beam katanas?! Other than that, it's a solid entry and it's a miracle we made it to 3, even moreso than Bayonetta, they at least have Sega, the fans and Sudas passion are pretty much the only reason why it's still around Edit: despite the performance issues I commend the switch port for the game running very well as much as it does especially during combat, I haven't played it since launch so I'm hoping they added a performance patch, I actually want to try the PC port when I can

Honestly i loved 3, especially bringing back the world and driving after just having level select in 2 But even for nintendo the hardware just feels soooooo dated, and i still play PS1 games haha, i don't mind decades old games, but even for an indie title it's super barren, janky and low res Although having voice acting makes it more advanced than basically every other Nintendo game haha, its weird that 75% of the map is inaccessible This could be from 2008 and noone would question it Fun story and solid gameplay props it up basically, but wish we could get it in non potato quality

Personally the game made me wish Suda didn't continue the series. The combat was the best the series has had so far, but that's basically all it did right. Game looks uglier than the first two titles, soundtrack has few memorable tracks and boss designs are awful for the most part. And the writing is way too on the nose with the 4th wall stuff.
