Fun fact: EA bought Bioware the same year the 1st Mass Effect came out, as a result the mostly finished game was only slightly rush before being done. And that is how and why the "re-mastered" is more buggy and unstable than the original. I must say I'm surprised they didn't cut a third of the game to sell it as DLC. Thanks EA!

Uh, the remaster wasn't more buggy or unstable at all. I thought it was a significant improvement, actually, and most reviews seem to agree. I played both when they first came out, and on PS3 the original crashed all the time and the controls could be downright frustrating. The only bugs I encountered in the remaster were bugs that I encountered in the original as well, and only the funny ones. But whatever, "EA Bad Evil No EA Game Gud" I guess.
