I am watching this video as I practice....on a full cover tip! I prefer practicing on a full cover nail vs the trainer hand. I have major difficulty using forms on the trainer hand. Happy practicing! ❤

Hi Greg, I used a dowel rod (to mimic the size of a finger) with a tip to practice before I got the practice hand.

I attach a tip to a toothpick or Q-Tip (minus the cotton on that end), and practice that way!! I’m a single mom and caregiver for my parents, and I homeschool my son so I can’t even afford $20 for orangewood sticks 🤣

So my question is . This thickness you accomplished, is this just because you are using one color without clear acrylic on top?

You don't need to encapsulate our acrylic colors, but you can for colors with glitter in them or the slickpour colors used as acrylic.
