I also took off the 1st through Monday and WOW did I need it!! I think this last year was still wearing on me and having the last few days off was such a lovely brain rest and reset. I hope you’re feeling rested and rejuvenated!

I'm so glad I took the time and I'm glad you had a break as well! Lol, I just work from home but you actually have to fly all over for your work, I'm sure you needed it.

@ they’ve had me home for a while luckily! Though next week I will be out of the house all week again-but thankfully still able to be home at the end of the day!

Do you ever just “delete” and restart your targets? I do it a lot to just reset targets if I want to shuffle things a bit or get them back on track in different ways. Depending on the type it can make a huge difference for the target for when you started it. If you want to completely reset your budget with a fresh start that’s like what you’d want to do. Unassign all you money and “delete” all your targets, then reset the targets, then assign money. It’s not too bad to delete the targets cause when you do to add them they remember what it was before.

Hmm, I haven't tried deleting the targets when I remove the assigned, I'll try that out, thanks for the tip!! I've only ever deleted them when they were acting up. Even when they were changing I'd just adjust them.

delete the Mission Lane target - flip to February now and reset it up and have the date as the last day of January 2026 - could also try "refill up to" $59 or "have a balance by" & maybe take out that $3.70 in January, so when it comes to Feb it can start fresh with $0

Thank you! I've deleted and re-set my target in February, hopefully it works 😊 Thanks for always being my go to for targets!

Love chatty Becky. I listen to a podcast by Adam Buxton and he has a little musical blip that is part of it called "Ramble Chat", the words go something like this: "Ramble chat, let's have a ramble chat, we'll focus first on this, and concentrate on that, come on let's chew the fat, let's have a ramble chat". When you talked about rambling, the tune opposed into my head - LOL. Keep on rambling my friend. May 2025 be your year of peace.

I'm getting back into my cross stitching so I'm here doing cross stitch while listening to KZbin videos
@TheGoodMidlifeCrisis11 күн бұрын
How awesome! My aunt used to do amazing cross stitch and I was into it when I was younger (I was never good enough to not use a printed pattern but I still loved it) I may have to get back into it, I think I still have some hoops in my closet. I hope your project is going well!

@@TheGoodMidlifeCrisis thanks, its going good (it's only one colour lol) and I am in no way good enough to not have a guide with all the symbols on it for each stitch but I really enjoy it.

I also have a target problem with a credit card annual fee. For me, I think it’s because at some point I categorized a statement credit inflow directly into the category as opposed to putting it in ready to assign and then assigning it. The only thing I can think of is that the target may be going off assigned money rather than the available amount. It’s very frustrating.
@TheGoodMidlifeCrisis11 күн бұрын
Oh, I can see how that might cause some issues. I don't get any rewards on this card so I don't think that's the problem for this one but, fortunately, this is the final month for this target. I've deleted and re-started it in February so I'm hoping that will clear it!

I enjoy your videos! I do have a question….. how do you find out your days of buffering? I can’ t seem to find that.
@TheGoodMidlifeCrisis11 күн бұрын
Thank you! The days of buffering are a toolkit option. If you aren't familiar with that I have a video on some of the features 😉. If you have it turned on it takes a couple of days to a week for it to calculate the days of buffering based on the money you have and the spending you do. It should populate within a couple of days with your buffering 😊

For the Mission Lane annual target, is there a chance it might be a duplicate scheduled transaction ?
@TheGoodMidlifeCrisis11 күн бұрын
I don't have anything scheduled for this card, I only have my tolls set to it but they don't come out on a regular basis so I don't have them scheduled. Good thought, though!!
