No one replaces Graham Bonnet on vocals for this Alcatrazz classic, however, Jeff Scott Soto does a great job here. Great upbeat tempo on this live performance. The Japanese crowd appreciate the moxie by which Malmsteen, Soto, Marcel Jacob and Johannson are playing. I love the live-action camera on shoulder recording style by the cameraman near the stage.

I see i was far from alone in thinking that the first part of the riff was very similar to Rainbow- Spotlight kid, its far from the only thing he got from Blackmore though, the destroying of the guitar was done pretty much in detail as Blackmore did it about 10 years earlier and of course he also took the neoclassical part and took it further. I say this as someone that likes at least old Yngwie and im also from Sweden, Blackmore is my favourite player though.

@@yodasupernintendo not any difference at all to me as I've been playing on guitar necks that have extra high fret wire my whole life. My scalloped guitar necks feel no different to me because my fingers never touch the finger board anyways. I guess if your used to using regular sized or medium fret wire then I could see it being a problem but not for me.

Interesting to hear the difference between Jeff Scott Soto and Graham Bonnet live. Soto's high notes are smooth and clear, but Bonnet in the live version didn't sound anywhere near as good, like he'd had a bad night before.
