The most perfect wild camp spot. After a full day exploring the sights in Snowdonia I headed to Anglesey to find a quite little cove in which to pitch my tent. I had planned to stay open to the elements on just my camping mat but with thunderstorms predicted I decided my tent would be a good idea, I definitely made the right decision.
I'm not 100% on the parking situation at Newborough beach, there are signs saying no overnight parking but I think maybe some people did? So its upto you if you want to risk that or park where I did 2 miles up the road in the village.
The island is tidal and does get cut off from the mainland twice a day for a few hours, so just be aware of the tide times if you do visit.

Wild camping is not legal anywhere in England and wales but you will usually be left alone if you practice a leave no trace policy. Tide times ask the internet

FYI you won't have any bother if you park over night in the main carpark. I've had a note put on the car when I parked at one of the small car parks off to the side part way down but nothing in the main car park.

I was born and bred on Anglesey and Ynys Llanddwyn is a beautiful spot. Spent countless days on the beach and in the forest as children. Enjoy Anglesey, there's so much to see and do. You need to check the beaches and the coastline on the other side of Anglesey such as Dulas, Lligwy, you won't be disappointed👍💖

There was a high tide.. but I checked the tide times.. I was cut off from the mainland for a few hours but I was chilling .. it didn’t matter 🙃
