Yo-kai S Medal Rant (Read Desc)

This work is a school project that has been reworked to go on KZbin. Since it is so short and was not made for KZbin, I will not count it as a new video, enjoy. (Also this was made months ago, which Is why I said I got the S medals recently)

I'm glad they "followed Hasbro's steps" and made past medals compatible with the current watch. But now the gray framed medals look cursed in the watch, more or less. If you just have the original medals, there isn't much reason to get the new medals unless if your aiming for the new ones in there but it's hecka expensive on eBay but at least it's guaranteed. To be fair, having the medals from the anime would be cursed but hey, anime accuracy, right? Right...?

So I have the new S medals. You need the ones for the Z-S (green medals) to get the voiceline. The Grey metals work properly with the orginal S watch. I got a Enma S metal and double checking. Works fine and say his name with no problem.

Just curious: what was the project about/what were the requirements? I could never imagine myself doing a video like this for a class 😅

I prefer the nfc reading for medals to be honest. Its part of why i love the YSP watch and the elda. The y medals dont even have rail codes, besides mist shadow's medals having 3 pin codes for the cheaper non-nfc alien watch. I feel like using a combination fo railcodes and nfc could make for an amazing watch but idk if theyd wanna bother.

Yeah but also they lock some features and yokai behind the toys. With QR, you could find them online. With NFC, you have to physically buy the toys which sucks, especially in blind packs

I like how you designed the S-Rank medals! It's very creative and funny because it's just Komasaun and Jibanyan having kiju (my apologies for the misspelling) sized bodies with facial expressions that tells you that they are all-powerful beings that can destroy the city. (That's basically how it felt having S-ranks on your squad).

Wait, oh..... Nevermind I legit say the thumbnail, saw the description. I thought that you would've should the medals in the video. Cause I did the video fully. Sorry about that, I just did a dumb thing 😅
