I had the unexpected pleasure of meeting Georgia two weeks ago at the Haw River Ballroom in NC. She was so kind and thoughtful. All three members were just hanging out in the General Store where people were shopping & having lunch. One of the coolest music moments of my life. They killed it both nights. Played this song the second night.

Well the singer was born in 1960 so yeah that would make old, but not "way old." I always heard their name as they been around forever but I think this is the first time I ever stopped to listen. It's quite nice music and i will be adding them to my playlists.

Normally KEXP sound engineers are amazing. But the guitar is a bit too loud in this gig. But as always KEXP done a fantastic job. I love this station for finding new bands and artists..

I think it might have thrown them off to have the vocal mic right there with the drums. It might be that the vocals were just too quiet. She might have got quieter as she started, too. Such gentle singing while at the kit might get a little weird with mics. Idk. I'm not a professional sound tech, but that's my guess 😅
