Researching everything, building every Unit and then roll over your opponent. Man, wasn't good as a kid, but ok-ish. But I figured out the trash-spam with minimal gold for Rams or Trebs to flatten the bot. Fun times! But kind of stupid ...

I don't see a problem with both mule cart civilizations benefitting in different ways from them, or the fortified churches for that matter (I do find it annoying that the civs share two different unique 'buildings' though). For any cultural unique thing civ bonuses usually play a big factor into it, Polish and Lithuanian Winged Hussars are vastly different, the battle elephants are pretty different for every civ they're available to, same with Steppe lancers. Fact is if two civs had the exact same unique building it would just feel boring

Yeah, Ratha are a little busted. Tanky and hard to counter. I personally think Bengalis shouldn't get Blast Furnace and lower armor. In general I feel like a lot of the Dynasties of India civs are still too good at too much, but that's just my perspective as a weak player who watches a lot of games. I prefer civs that are more focused in design.
