The song is called “Taishou Roman” aka. Taisho Romance. It’s a love story about a girl who lives in the Taisho period of Japan (1912-1926) and the boy lives in the 2020s (present). Separated by 100 years of time essentially.

in 2023 a boy named tokito become pen pal with a girl named chiyoko from 1923, tokito told chiyoko about the future like tv washing machine etc that doesn't exist in chiyoko timeline, they like each other even they never meet and don't the face but tokito remember that a huge earthquake in 1 september 1923 in japan and chiyoko lives in japan that time so he tried to told her but the letter need some times to arrive so he thought he didn't make it but miracle happen chiyoko recieve the letter, she survive the disaster and live until 80yo (if I'm not wrong) then she write letter for tokito how she lives, she has chance to use some machine like tv refrigerator etc and give the letter to his son then his bestfriend grandpa/dad (idk) give the letter to him . . .
