My Summarization of Big Dreams of a Small Swallows (By Ototsuki Nana) I'll use "He" to describe Mr. Swallows The main character in the story is a bird (specifically Swallows). "He" was migrating to Japan to escape the winter season. But before "He" arrive "he" stopped on a Island to get rest. "He" saw too many garbages in the seaside of the island. "If there's no garbage, it will looked cleaner", What a big dream for a small swallow There was a called "home" for Mr. Swallows. Every year "he" comes at the children's house and there was a woman always waiting for Him. The children we're happy for arrival of Mr. Swallows. His nest was placed on the window and everytime they will read stories he can hear the stories the woman was reading. This time the woman was reading "The Happy Prince" (The story is all about a swallow giving his all treasures like gold leaf and jeweleries on unhappy people until there's no left for the swallow and died). I wish everyone could be happy without giving away the prince's golds and jewel Mr. Swallow flew to see whats on his surroundings and he saw a buildings everywhere, if there are too many construction of buildings there would no room for the swallows to live. And he saw a Swallow like him in the rooftop of a condominium, crying because his nest destroyed and he was raising a chicks on that nest. He said that every human are bad and he wish they would be gone... Mr. Swallows comforted him and said humans are not all bad, he suggested that he can lived in the nest where he live. He show around that not all people are bad. On the next day Mr. Swallow have a great plan. When the sun rises all swallows living near to his nest gathered will flew in the sky with a flower on their beaks. He give a purple flower to the mother living near for happiness and the swallows make a trajectory of a heart. Everyone gives a flower to each person who sees it, and many people was happy about it... "For us and humans to live in harmony" Delivering flowers doesn't change anything. However, if even for a moment, those who are stuck in the "now" can help to face the "future". If so, I would be very happy. 　I once wondered how humans and our animals could live in harmony. It was when he said, "Human beings are bad guys." The answer is simple. All you have to do is shave your heart a little, crush it, and share it with others. Just a little bit. You don't have to sacrifice all of yourself like that "Happy Prince", so you just have to reach out to someone a little bit. 　If everyone in this world-humans, animals, adults, children, all did it, this world would be kinder, cleaner, brighter, and happier than it is now. I will do it. ――It may be a dream of a small swallow that is too big. What I mean is that anyone can be someone's "happy prince." I've skipped too many parts specially in the end of the story because it was too long and too detailed to summarized it.
