Bluetooth can use different codecs to transport the sound over the air (codec determines how the audio signal is encoded into digital bits on the transmitter side and how it is decoded from digital bits back into an audio signal on the receiver side). There are several codecs existing. The very old ones are called SBC and AAC, which have the poorest sound quality and the disadvantage of an audio signal latency. E.g. when you watch a you tube video listening to the audio signal that is transferred by bluetooth using SBC or AAC, you will recognize that the audio signal is late compared to the video signal. Newer codecs are aptX or aptX-HD, that both avoid the audio latency. aptX has a better sound quality than SBC and AAC. aptX-HD should have even a better sound quality than aptX, because it provides a better audio signal resolution. A lot of people claim, that you can't hear a difference between aptX and aptX-HD.

I have this adapter. It supports aptX. I haven't found anything better than this for the QC25. The only problem is that it's range is easily the worst of all BT headphones I've tried. Sometimes, if my phone is on the opposite side pant leg, it will drop out! However, Bluetooth audio standards and support are a mess of fragmentation so it just makes sense to get a cheap, small adapter that I can change as standards change instead of an expensive BT headphone.

I have a Bose QC25. The sound is low when I connect it to my huawei or samsung phone via the aux cable. I don't have this problem when i connect to laptop or old Iphone 3gs. Do you think this adapter can transmit sound quality and loudness smoothly? When I open a song with bass, the massage feeling in my ears is only on the laptop and 3gs this is very annoying bro. Help me please

Hi Mert, it's hard for me to know tye answer to that as I think you would be best buying and trying it out. If it doesn't work how you want it to you can always send it back Amazon are very good with returns. Sound quality is very personal so what sounds good to me may not be good for you and vice versa. Best to try it out hope that helps

@@kempoutzzz Hi, yes they work fine, but to be honest I dont use them anymore as i have some new headphones which are wired but the sound quality is a huge improvement
