How many of each do you play in your deck? I'm also running Rey and Bendu (3/2 - running 2x Obi wan aswell). Was running Sugi previously but ended up switching to 2x Razor Crest and putting Sugi in the sideboard.

This has been my #1 deck this set. You gotta try zillo beast at least in the side. C-3PO Definitely also a great move since you can garuntee draw or at worst look at it so you can setup YMOH

Yea C-3P0 makes a lot of sense. I have a hard time with Zillobeast. I wish it had Overwhelm.

@ yeah, but Bendu swinging the turn after he’s played and reducing the Zillos cost by 2 so you can play it on the yoda flip is crazy

Because yoda can kill 1-2 things and clean up the board on top of your other attackers (Bendu) so next turn it’s like they better have removal or the game is over

Do you have a plan for red/green decks rushing krayt dragon? Other than filtering for fell and hoping for the best

Yeah we have a ton of removal. So I would say our card advantage would help us a lot. Perilous Position is incredibly effective as it helps us to weaken the dragon, and exhaust it. Once I realize my opponent was trying to get out Krayt Dragon quickly I would save my removal for that specifically. It really depends on what kind of deck though is using the Dragon. Mill and hand disruption may also be a good form of disruption against a deck like that to get rid of their ramp and powerful units especially because we can do so at 4 resources with Vigilance/Spark of Rebellion

With Enfyst Nest being so prevalent in double yellow Han, do you feel like Vanguish is needed? Especially in the side at least? Also ruthless raider? Another removal dodger that vanguish takes care of

Rival’s fall in the sideboard takes care of both of those. Takedown/Chewbacca combined with a perilous position also works. Thanks for the comment !

Which deck do you think is better - Yoda Red or Yoda Blue? If you could pick one for a big tournament right now which one would it be?

Probably red for the better top end with a Krayt and also force throw into Invasion Of Christophsis is basically a 1 cost kill anything. Force throw is too good to pass. Also playing Anakin Skywalker turn 2 can close games or put early pressure that’s insane. Other than that blue has a slightly different curve and strategy.

I would say try them both out. Force throw is definitely An amazing card like Gudo stated and that’s the reason you play red. getting K-2SO and Krayt Dragon is sweet. One thing this version struggles with is Han Yellow/Palpatine and I think red might do better because of the discard “sub-theme” In the Blue version getting Vigilance at 4 cost, being able to gain life easier, and being more focused on mill is great too. They play similar IMO so I think it comes down to player preference and what you feel comfortable with

As always, I love watching your video analysis, especially the ones focused on control, which are very detailed on Patreon. I have two questions: 1) How would you take advantage of the sideboard? What changes would you make with the main to focus on control decks? 2) How would you view the presence of C3P0 in the deck with Yoda's ability and You Are My Only Hope?

1. Against control I am bringing in 8 cards. 1x Restock 3x Spark of Rebellion 2x Satine Kryze 2x Rival's Fall I would take out 3x Top Target 3x Concord Dawn Interceptors 1x Val 1x Village Protector 2. I like C-3P0 in here as it sets up You're My Only Hope. My thoughts on C-3P0 are that it is not necessary to win especially with Yoda's ability already setting up You're My Only Hope and we already have a ton of card draw in here with Yoda's Ability, Yoda (When defeated), Ki-Adi-Mundi, Obi-Wan (When Defeated), and Kuill on attack ability

@@SWUDAD What do you prefer for your sideboard: Imprisoned or Rival's Fall? On the other hand, if you choose Rival's Fall, now that there are many units that cannot be defeated with Takedown and Fell the Dragon, isn't Vanquish better?

@@AdolFett I prefer rivals fall. I like rival’s fall for midrange and control matchups to take out big threats, and also for decks with Leaders that can be a big problem (Anakin, Maul, Han1, etc). I don’t think you need vanquish with all the other removal in here and rivals fall hits anything including leaders, where vanquish doesn’t
