No Rey TT? I think it is still the best hero midrange...people are trying the new leaders, but I think like the last set, once we get going with PQs, will go back to Rey TT. She is pretty versatile and you can sideboard for a lot of the meta.

Still believe that Palp Green is the best Palp deck. If I am to make a control deck why not choose Boskk??

@@DVeider yea I love the command version, but I think Palp Green struggles a little more in the early game against aggro. Bossk is definitely my preferred control deck to play right now. So I don’t have a good rebuttal to that other than Iden Blue has a better matchup against other control decks, and the new cards it got as well from set 3 make it even better (merciless contest, perilous position, equalize).

@@thehikingcucumber3410 yeah absolutely. You have to get lucky and avoid it, or have a strong game plan 💪 for it. It’s definitely beatable if your game plan is strong, but Sabine is still favored. Every deck has a weakness

I play Yoda Blue. Do you know what would be best to strengthen my matchup against Bossk Blue??? I currently am main decking 3 Satine and 1 restock to beat them in the mill game round one. And I have 1 more restock in the sideboard. I’ve seen other people use Tech and/or Second Chance to deal with the hard control decks too. Also, love the content by the way! The videos are fantastic!!! 🤩

I am actually going to be trying to do a video on Yoda Blue in the next few days. I would say move up to a 3rd copy of restock, and definitely "Spark of the Rebellion" for hand disruption. If you want to do even more hand disruption than you should consider "Pillage" at 6 cost, or "Unmasking the Conspiracy" at 3 cost. Tech is great as a way to utilize all of your resources. @@12bjorn34 Awesome! I would say 1 mainboard, and 1-2x in the sideboard. 3x Spark of Rebellion in sideboard. I just posted my Yoda blue list on there as well. I will hopefully be doing a video on this in a few days.

@@12bjorn34 Just a quick update. Just played a few games on Karabast with my list and went 3-0. Deck feels great, has great recovery, and card advantage. Feels solid across the board. Really enjoying it.

@@SWUDAD that’s fantastic!! I cannot wait for your video on the deck. I (unlike other lists I’ve seen) also found myself having 2 copies of Zillo Beast because it curves really well from Bendu and is a good target for Yoda’s flip/you’re my only hope. I’m so happy that the deck can survive against Bossk Blue. And though I only have two restocks due to going mostly all in on the minus/minus control cards (Hello There, P Position, Equalize), I found space for the 3 sparks. Can’t wait to test it 👍

You should edit out/down the long pauses in your gameplay and come back with a fast voice over explaining your choices. That's my personal preference anyway.

No I agree I definitely try too, but sometimes the games are so long I miss some of those and editing can take hours if I try to get everything and I don't have a lot of time lol

I struggled against Palp Blue with similar deck last set, any tips on going up against that other then maybe run 60 cards to avoid milling out?

Bounty Hunter Crew/Restock Pillage for hand disruption against Palp can be devastating Bazine for Hand disruption as well Overall, Palp can be a very tough matchup especially against a strong player, but definitely winnable. I would suggest getting in a ton of reps against palpatine on Forcetable, and Karabast when you are able too.

You got resupply. I played against it too but I won. He had resupply too but at the end I just keep using vigilance and I milled his resupply and I won.

thanks for the tips guys. Still need some more practice piloting this deck too. Just got beat 2-1 against my friends Cad Bane, I'm mostly blaming absolutely terrible mulligan and draws for one game but I think I made some mistakes in the other loss.

@@drstevens21 Yeah I would imagine that there will be more mill strategies if Bossk Blue continues to gain traction. That's why I talk about playing more cards in my list at 54 as well as Bounty Hunter Crew/Restock. But absolutely that is one of Bossk Blue's biggest weaknesses.

Awesome content as always. I really like when you play control, you play it very well. I've been playing Palp 2 Blue alot lately and it's been good so far (I got 3rd of 15 players in my locals trying it out). There is a 1K I have coming up that I plan to play in with it (with some updates ofc). I hope you are well!

Leading with Starfighter at 45:50 seems like a missed opportunity when you have Palp flip available. Was it a blunder or did you have a good reason for not just playing Merc Gunship first?

Same goes for Waylay own Vader when it has two 'Top Target' attached at 51:40. Seems like that's pretty good to deny 12 life for a replayable Vader at that point?

I played Vs Josh at Birmingham. I was Mono-Palp. He won game 1 easily and I won game 2 fairly convincingly. Game 3 came down to him having 3 Devastators and me only having 2. We played Devastator maybe 7 or 8 times in a row (using Palps return etc)

I also played against Josh at Birmingham with new palp blue and it wasn’t even close I was so impressed with how Josh’s deck performed. I went 4-4 overall so middle of the pack kind of day

3 maul and 2 cad bane could be good enough or the presence of the vaders is mandatory?

Vader is definitely really important. Helps find sentinels against aggro/replenishes the board against control. I think Maul and Cad Bane are great. I would just have a strong game plan to deal with aggro as this will be your more difficult matchup. Maybe more early sentinels, or even a card like "Spider Droid" as a way to ambush into deal with their threats. Sabine in particular is going to be very difficult, so more sentinels is definitely your best bet for that matchup

@@SWUDAD but thank you for the great video, and i really love palp as leader, i like almost all the versions...probably the blue one is my dream...but is too late for the aggro meta of the moment...i tried the double green one but...i don't know...a bit too limited, i think is the most popular one just becouse of command, so...the yellow one seems the best solution, and trying it during the set 2 ...i discovered the massive potential and i found it really funny also

@@carlobendelli6111 Yeah Yellow is my favorite because of the great cards it has to stall your opponent, and "Change of Heart". A Palpatine Blue deck did really well at a recent tournament this past weekend, but they only played against 1 Sabine and they lost. So basically if you avoid Sabine than your golden against Midrange, and have a decent matchup against control. @@ryanlambert1468 more of an aggressive build, but I could totally see adding 2x resupply, which I believe just comes down to player preference. I am mainly Using General’s blade to put pressure, and cheat things out.

Unfortunately, that is the one thing I just can't offer consistently right now because I have very little time. Karabast was great because when I have random time I can play a few games and record. I literally record just about every game that I play because I have very little time. I would definitely like to find time to play against patreon subscribers on Karabast once it's up and running again, but it will unfortunately have to be random where I announce that I am playing on Patreon if anyone has time to play against me type of thing.

Congratulations on the video. I see that this deck is different from the one that is becoming famous. The approach is quite interesting because of the mechanics of exhausting the opponent's units. Would you add hold-out blaster to the deck to continue taking advantage of Jango's ability?

@ i think both decks are great. I definitely like this version better. It’s more fun, and the NTATOT just gives the deck a different power level. Cad Bane is amazing, and being able to cheat it out at 5 resources is crazy good

That's not what is in here for. It already costs 3. The reason that it is good for NTATOT is because you can send it back to your hand on your 4 or 5 resource turn causing you to have only 1 unit left on the board so that you can use NTATOT to cheat out a bigger unit like Obi-Wan at 4 resources or Luke at 5 resources while meeting the requirement for only 1 unit being on the battlefield.
