Unfortunately, this is something you need to keep in mind in all of your lists. As PQ's approach a lot more people will play control style decks because Bossk Blue for example has good matchups across the board right now so they are betting on their skill as a player when they play that deck. Yeah Strategic Analysis can definitely be good in here making Pre Vizsla a 6/6 when it flips. I think it's worth testing 2x copies in the mainboard in a control list like this.

Added in "Strategic Anaylsis" into the mainboard. Feels great. Drawing 3 cards on same turn that you flip Pre Vizsla ensures that it is a 6/6, and it's just a great card late game as well to dig for your finishers and do 3 damage to a unit easily. I have 1 in mainboard, and 1 in sideboard as of now

@@SWUDAD I like blue better, I took it to the Birmingham tourney last month and went 4-4 but really enjoyed it. Maybe im just not a good aggro player 😅

@AndrewHughes-jj5vg yeah blue is sweet. Both of them feel good, but feel like they need more cards made specifically for them. Like something where you can play it on turn 1 for example as a hero, or resource it, and pull it out from your resources with villainy colors Or even cards that are both villainy/hero so that you don’t skip a beat … Decks biggest weakness feels like shooting itself in the foot 🦶… but leader ability is really good .. so much potential . One to keep an eye 👀 on as we get more sets

@@SWUDAD I also really like Resolute, Under Anakin's Command in this deck. If you find yourself in a race, it can be TDR in like Heavy Persuader Tank, but also dish out 4 total damage to units (ground or space) and swings for 8 instead of 6.

@@valeriochicca5780 So TRD effectively reduces the unit cost 2. And in this case would cover the aspect penalty cost. You're then relying on Resolutes inherent cost reduction ability to make it cheaper. I wouldn't run more than 1 in the deck. But IMO, it's enough to swing a game where you're racing

@@AlphaMike2k Palpatine Blue got 2nd place at a recent 200 player event. It’s definitely a good deck. Of course it’s biggest weakness being getting run over by aggro I agree though I’d prefer to play these colors with Qi’ra because it fits my play style more. I also prefer Palpatine in yellow because of Elite Starfighter , and “Change of Heart” That’s cool. What colors are you playing Palpatine in?

@@Trance2400 awesome! Gunship has great synergy in here for sure. Rune Haako is definitely a cool card. I went with Death trooper cause it can hit for 5 as an ECL target on turn 3, and can be pulled with Vader to hit for that 7 damage. I do have a Maul in the sideboard for the same reason. First light is cool too. Nice ! I definitely think Qira is still a very good choice in the meta

​@@SWUDADnice, I missed that you were running ECL. I've switched back to 30 hp, I have a lot of aggro in the local meta. Fair comments on including Death Trooper, I can see where it would work well with ECL and Vader. I've also had several plays where pulling a Rune off Vader allows me to knock out a troublesome space unit, and at 2 cost I've pulled both a Rune and Hylobon together to refill my board. Pros and cons, might try out a couple Death Troopers in my sideboard.

@ 30 Hp makes sense if you are running into a ton of aggro. I definitely need to test out Rune some more.

YOu should try Rune Haako over Hylobon Enforcer instead if you run it. Don't want to give control card advantage.

@@midnightcarnivalxxR that's fair, I personally think a 3/2 shield on turn 1 is worth the risk, but it is a risk. People play Doctor Evazan in cunning decks for a 3/3 shield despite its even more ridiculous bounty.

@@rkoman1 top target, death mark are both bounties. “The Client” also creates bounties with its ability, which can gain you up 10 life if Bossk is deployed. You can gain up 12 life with a top target if Bossk is deployed. You can draw 4 cards with death mark if Bossk is deployed . Bossk is one of the best leaders in the game because you can immediately ping things on turn 1 after putting down a bounty. It’s also just great because it deploys on 5 resources and can impact the game earlier Bossk blue is one of The best decks in the game currently. @@ThePandaMayne yeah aggression is a super strong card. Winning into Bossk is definitely tough. Early pressure combined, with Suttle card draw with Pershing/Ki-Adi-Mundi/Reinforcement Walker, and then “Relentless” down the stretch. Krayt Dragon and Avenger are going to be hard, but we do have Perilous Position, Fell the Dragon, and Rival’s Fall, as well as our own Avenger. The matchup is a lot of back and forth. If it’s a matchup you are seeing a lot of than I would consider adding “Devastator”, “Restock” and another “Vigilance”, to have milll as more of an option, but either way it requires a decent amount of testing to get a feel for how to navigate it.

@@hidden-assets overall, the opponents I played against were solid. Not sure what one of them was doing. I had a couple of losses in there. Mostly due to misplays and not having enough reps in, but i can start to show the losses as well if that helps

@SWUDAD losses help us understand the matchups better, that would be helpful. You played well throughout, and you have to edit these down, so no worries. As I'm a Sabine player (top 8 1k) I just didn't understand how that first opponent was thinking. Timely Yularen to no effect? The Ecl sabine on R1 was painful to watch. They need that for poe/wrecker in that MU. Adelphi also isn't spectacular right now, but to each their own. Would like to see this against Palp1, Bossk blue, and Han1 green. Kyli Green and Asajj red aren't very competitive (and they were too short), so I didn't get much out of those MUs. Thanks for the video!!

Han1 Yellow is actually very favored vs control because you have cards like "Bodhi Rook", "Spark of Rebellion", "Cunning", "Qi'ra", the "Tech/DJ" combo to steal their resources early, built in ramp advantage with Han leader, the ability to play aggressive agaist them with surprise strike/breaking in, the draw engine with (Ezra Bridger/R2-D2/C-3P), and great tempo cards like Cantina Bouncer and now Enfy's Nest. Control hates a good Han1 Yellow player. The issue with Han1 is that is one of the most difficult if not the most difficult deck to play in the game right now. I would recommend play testing against control decks on "Forcetable", and "Karabast" over and over again. Forcetable helps you to learn the correct lines of play, and Karabast against live oppponents. The most difficult matchups for Han1 Yellow I would say are discard heavy decks like Rey Red/Han Blue/Yoda Red, and Palpatine decks. Against those decks there are lines of play that can win too, but again this takes a ton of testing. I would recommended getting in over like 200 games with Han1 Yellow if you really want to master the deck and have a game plan for each archetype. Yeah we have a ton of removal. So I would say our card advantage would help us a lot. Perilous Position is incredibly effective as it helps us to weaken the dragon, and exhaust it. Once I realize my opponent was trying to get out Krayt Dragon quickly I would save my removal for that specifically. It really depends on what kind of deck though is using the Dragon. Mill and hand disruption may also be a good form of disruption against a deck like that to get rid of their ramp and powerful units especially because we can do so at 4 resources with Vigilance/Spark of Rebellion
