I am in the middle of reorganizing my art supplies. Just when I realized how much stuff I have accumulated and begin to feel frustrated because, I don't know what to do with it all. I think this is a great thing to watch with children, too! It would make a great secret safe for fashion dolls and their things, don’t you agree? Or a little crafting genius might want to create for grandma! We all know the best Christmas gifts for certain children are the things they imagine to do with the gift boxes afterwards. Sometimes roadside finds are even better, though, and while you drive, your creative kid might see something they could adapt. When getting ready for a new school, or their own room for the first time, working through grief, or just needing to make a change, don’t forget, always stop as long as it is safe and folks have really set things out for trash. A child often feels powerless, stopping just because they want to look and assess for themselves perhaps with pre-season guidelines (most things are left out in springtime, some towns up here announce a week or two for it, then the city will pick up the rest later). Perhaps a Sunday School craft closet can get a spring cleaning, and crafts like these go to elderly folks who have had to downsize. If the vases are a dollar or two to make, I would say you could make a similar look by simply using fake carnival glass, pretty vases with sometimes very rosy colors that reflect well. I think this wonderful lady should like those a lot, and she would take those to the next level, too! Remember to use all glues and paints only where there is good ventilation and no open flame like gas stoves nearby! I thought the explanation about the support keeping the box’s shape with a bunch of pieces she already had instead of totally buying everything is great, you can teach math and trade skills that way. One thing we must teach our kids is to make do with what we have, and do one project at a time, gone is the day when leftover projects disorganize rather than organize our lives. This channel is great for that! Thank you!
