Hi Lesley, thanks so much for your videos, just started doing yoga two weeks ago ( I'm 50 ) , decided on your 30 day challenge and glad I did. Day 11 today, was tired and not really feeling like doing yoga but did it anyway and now I'm actually feeling energized ! :) love it !! Ill remember this feeling if I ever feel like skipping a day again :) Also , I'm already feeling like I'm getting a bit more bendy, which I love so again, thank you ! I'm looking for ward to the 90 day challenge after I'm done with this one :)

This is the first yoga challenge I didn't quit by day 3. My intention is always to move with ease and not force my body into a certain position. 11 days in and I feel great.

Loved it....Yoga is indeed like “medicine” or even food....now that I’ve gotten into the habit since October of daily yoga, I wouldn’t miss my daily “dose” :)

I'm not a beginner but I love following this challenge as it's such a nice and gentle way to wake my body in the mornings and these sessions are perfect for ladies' vacation for being so calm, slow and peaceful. Thanks Lesley for being amazing.

I can usually stretch my torso about as much as you're doing, but my hamstrings have always been very tight so I can't do a lot of poses like downward dog or forward fold without bending my legs slightly. Can I expect this to improve with time, or are my tendons pretty much stuck how they are? My brother has the same problem, so it's probably just a combination of genetics and height, I just hope this doesn't lessen the benefits I'm getting from the stretches.

+Zac Spurgeon Your hamstrings should start to lengthen as you continue practicing. Even if then don't stretch very much, you're still getting the benefits for sure!! :-)

Hi, i Lesley, thank you for the classes, i love them. Is my first time doing yoga and i really enjoy it. I can't do some of the flexs, my right knee is too week and hurts. And last night i have pain on my legs. I do yoga very early each morning. Any advice?

Pain that is sharp or stabbing is an indication of something that's happening in the body that needs attention. Pain from being sore after practicing is okay. Avoid any poses or movements that cause sharp pain in your body and have your doctor take a look at your knee to be safe. I hope this helps. Take it easy and rest!

I accidentally went from Shavasana to seated by just pulling myself upright. I felt a headache straight after and remembered by seeing you rolling to your right side first and pushing yourself up by your left hand and lifting your head up last. Why is that? What does it do if I just pull myself upright as I did?

Yoga is so beneficial, but I'm beginning to think it's not for me. At a class over a year ago I trapped a nerve in my right hip (which my chiropractor is helping with) while in crescent lunge. I would love to continue but not having someone there to correct & guide me is just too scary. If I injure myself while under guidance, then who knows know if I'm holding any of the poses correctly when I'm solo?
