I remember when I tried the wall thing for the first time (some weeks ago), i couldn't really do much. Today I tried again and I see a big progress. Thank you so much:). I'll keep on practicing :)

I love love love this video! I've naturally been okay with forward folds and am generally quite flexible, but didn't think it would ever be possible for me to do the splits. I have done one class in which I got around half way to a split, more than I expected, but first time watching this and I'm nearly there with the exception of one cushion. Thank you Cole!

Thank you for this workout video I really like it. The two sequences don’t quite repeat. The wall stretch is tough but you do see progression with persistence.

That really helped me flex my bones and help me do the splits. I dont think I'm technically a beginner, as I know somehow how to do a backbend and a cartwheel. Please do more videos on how to master the splits without pillows as I therefore really want to know how to do the splits as I've seen other people do it and envy starts spreading all around me. I think this video is perfect for people just like me who wants to know how the splits work.

If you keep practicing you’ll get it I used to force my ‘splits’ and it didn’t work i would watch videos of how to do them in one hour and stuff like that i would not recommend it Now it’s a responsible adult making the video its yoga which is good for you and this video is in detail. Thank you so much for helping me find my splits!

There is need to force the splits when you stretch you have to let it happen naturally breathing and relaxing is all that's needed and your muscles will lengthen, but It all depends as well on the individual's flexibility, some us might be able to do the splits within a week some people will have to work harder and unfortunately a few will never achieve it due to short or tight hamstrings and I speak from experience being an ISTD dance teacher, but anyway there are plenty of channels online mine included with in-depth how-to split tutorials in which you can follow along and stretching tutorials for beginners

Hi Cole, This video is fantastic, I've always been very flexible but never been able to do the splits. I've done this video three times this week and tonight i was able to do the full splits with no pillows. Just wondering though , do you find you're able to do them easier on one side than the other? I find it much easier with my left leg in front. Anyway thank you for sharing all your wonderful yoga videos. Amanda

How do you know how much pain is to much? I know in order to get the splits there will be pain when stretching but how do u know how much you should have without pulling something ?

There shouldn't be ANY pain. Discomfort, yes, but if you're hurting, you're doing something wrong!!! I just learned how to cue this pose in ytt class last night. You can also use a bolster under you when starting off like she did with the pillow, and yoga blocks under your hands to give you more support/height.YOu can also bend your front leg a bit if it's too uncomfortable to completely straighten both legs.
