It was at about this point that I finally decided I'd been right all along and these idiots are all just a lost cause. I did attempt reading it, but it's just insanity malformed into a wall of words. How the hell it got published is beyond me. The kicker, if I remember rightly, that woman has since gone on to be the Education Secretary of Australia. From what an Australian friend of mine tells me, that woman's "Gender Studies" curriculum is so extremely misandrist that even the girls in my friend's class were disgusted with it.

@@Tsurf Nah. We're good at approximating sizes, the numbers are just for organizing the tool box or garage. For science-y stuff, we go metric, but still have no clue what's going on with fractions and decimals and things. Heck, we even code our craft supplies strangely compared to the rest of the world - knitting needles and crochet hooks have their own measurement sizes. We even have a crochet hook that the rest of the world chooses to ignore or avoid. Americans are really good at some really strange stuff.
