wowhobbs has a wild demonhunter deck buildt around glide and it seems to work pretty well as he climbed to legend with it, but you have to put alot of resourses into making that card even remotely playable.

I think Yogg and Yogg have the most synergy out of the old god lists. N'zoth and N'zoth may have some small synergies and carryovers. New C'thun is for decks that can draw and live for that amount of time. Both new and old Y'haara and old C'thun you need to build decks around. So, by speculation, I would say to practically play you can play 1-3 (Yogg, Yogg, and new C'thun) old gods in a Control list and have some sort of synergy and even then it may not be the greatest.

Normally I prefer to have mostly reliable cards in my decks, but Yogg-saron is one of the few meme cards that i will put in a serious deck. Because sure he might betray me and lose me the game, but I only play Yogg when I have no other solution and he sometimes steals victory.

Hey Roffle, curious to see why you believe Glide failed so heavily as a card. In theory, it feels like, for an aggro class like DH, disrupting Control deck’s hands would be good. The two best ideas I had was either that Control decks didn’t care if their hand was reset or that combo decks already lose to aggro DH. Add on to the fact that your basically passing a development turn to play it as well as having the requirement of being outcast in order to be good.

A big issue with the card I think is the context with the rest of the expansion. The 2 man 1/3 draw until 3 was released at the same time and the idea of continuous card raw at half the price with a body is way more competitive. On top of it glide doesn’t guarantee the win against control it just ruins whatever was in their hand which you don’t know most of the time and if it’s to disrupt a combo deck then you’ve already lost in aggro (and there are better direct disruption card for non-aggro).

I feel like glide is not a "bad" card, it's just a cars that has issues fitting into demon hunters gameplan. Also too often you're not playing against reno priest and you end up reloading your opponent with it.

I didn't think it would be as horrible as it turned out and it was really all the backlash around it that had me sorta optimistic about it. I think people in general were still scared and scarred from DH's introduction. 5 mana Skull of Guldan, 5 mana Warglaives, 0 mana Twin Slice... People were terrified of Demon Hunter
