I think I remember the US miliary doing something similer to the bomber bats in WW2. They used napalm and starped it to the legs of bats and set it to explode on a timer. Unfortunitly, the bats escaped and they burnt down a hanger in Nelus Airforce Bace.

Bomber Bats were actually a thing. In WW2 an american scientist put napalm with a timer on the bats and they were going to send them to Japan and have them land in buildings during the night. It was all approved but when the bats were being trained they got loose and burned down a friendly base. The atom bomb may not have been dropped if it went to plan
