I'd say maybe... 6 years. Up to when Hat Films - basically - replaced Simon, and Sips and Sjin stopped recording together. Game Goblin was alright, but basically everything since then has been boring as fuck.

It’s honestly crazy that this channel is 10 years old. Every day for the past 9 years I’ve looked forward to a new yogscast video and they’ve never disappointed. This channel has been a huge part of my life growing up and I still go back and watch the old classics from time to time and they bring me the same joy as they did the first time I watched them. I’m sure I’m not the only one who’s had this experience with this channel and I look forward to the next 10 years of the channel.

I still remember searching WoW podcasts and somehow stumbling across the YoGPoD many moons ago and instantly relating to two twenty somethings talking about snow and how Simon's pants somehow came out of his trouser and I absolutely loved it. I've been listening since the start and although I miss the style of the first 15 episodes they are all excellent. I have great memories of listening with him when I was a teenager. I remember when I became a fan of these boys years ago - when they were still relative unknowns. I remember I loved their Minecraft stuff (and Yogpod ofc!), when it was still in its hay day, and became disappointed later on when they decided to start doing more stuff. So I left and thought 'it's just not for me anymore' - I came back about 2 yrs later to find I loved them all over again. I realised it wasn't Minecraft I'd ever loved them for, but their enjoyable personalities and moments as just a big group of mates. I love them more than ever before now and have stayed loyal ever since

Honestly, i think the yogpod would be doing better now than back then. Back then people didnt even know what a podcast was. Now there are so many platforms where you can discover new podcasts and i think that just the 2 of you would do great and get a big audience easily. You 2 together dont need anything or anyone else to create a good podcast. You guys dont need to try-hard jokes or talk about politics or educate people about certain things. You can talk about random stuff and people will enjoy and laugh. Its fantastic.

Please release more podcasts! i drive alot for work, but ive already listened to all the yogpods and triforces so many times i can pretty much narrate them word by word lol, ive also downloaded all the legacy yogpods (by some fan, they are from old WOW footage) and all the hatchats, still, i keep coming back to the normal yogpods as the humor is just perfect and even after listening to every episode 50 times, i still enjoy them when driving long distances! but it would be great to add a few to the collection :D
