Take it a step further, make them make interesting choices. If you and your soulmate are the last ones alive, the two of you win, but your teammates do not win, regardless of what roles the soulmates are. If both of them are innocent, and it comes down to the two of them versus a traitor and they win, they are the only two innocents who win. You can still win if you and your soulmate die, but your partner won't win with you. That way, the moment soulmates are assigned, they have to make the choice between trying to win with their original team, or with their soulmate.

The ending round, with the group of friends watching as a nuke approaches, knowing that they will respawn after the explosion, it reminds me of the short story Through The Flash by Nana Kwame Adjei-Brenyah. I highly recommend reading Through The Flash to anyone interested, it's really good

This moment struck a strange chord with me, and I ended up watching it over a good number of times, sitting in the feeling. Then I saw this comment! Because of it, I ended up getting the book and reading Through the Flash during a brief fright at the hospital and then later most of the rest of Friday Black! And god, so true, a great story and a great book. A truly specific circumstance with a very familiar emotion. I live my life by doing things I enjoy. These videos happen to be among them! It is unsurprising that the most memorable points in my life, both scary and joyful, are surrounded by these -little moments-. All to say that: this story was something I found a great deal of comfort in at a small point in time where I feared my condition would never improve. And I still think about that time now and then! Thank you, stranger, for the little moment of calm that chases that recurring anxiety of mine ^^
