So, I think the reason some of these "button wins" are so work-intensive is because they're designed for games of more than 7 people. If you had like 21 people, it'd be a lot easier and quicker to gather up all those materials.

Hi! I'm actually the map maker and it is my first gmod map ever. It was built for 8 people size-wise, and actually the only reason the win condition was implemented is because some players would hide for minutes at a time. So i wanted something to give traitors incentive to work faster. I've actually made an updated v2 of this map which speeds up this process a little bit by relocating the coal.

@@RubelliteFae thank you! I should also clarify that, if the Sword is kept alive for 30 seconds, the innocents win. And if it is destroyed, traitors win. I think in the video rythian killed the last innocent right as the sword plopped down so it seemed like it made the traitors win. So it should be in the best interest of both teams to either protect or destroy the sword. Though it has like, 1000-2000 hp making it a lil beefy

Not even larger groups. On a real TTT server, you're not on discord with everyone, there's proximity chat. You can't RDM indiscriminately and just go oh let's kill everyone until the round ends, Ben will just reset the karma. You will get banned by the server really quickly RDMing like they do on a regular server. This maps with the alternate win conditions, things to protect, and tasks to unlock the traitor tester are the most fun to play. Far more fun than they make it out in these videos, because they play the entire game mode incorrectly. Yogscast TTT is just something to look at while they banter.

The reason the "Auto-wins" are difficult is the same reason why it is hard for the crewmembers to win via tasks in Among us. It is to punish Traitors who do nothing. Yes the timer exists for that... but the timer itself is slow enough that it is annoying. By adding an non-timed objective you give innocents a constant work to win button. Now innocents are playing a game, and traitors have to stop them. This is partly why Among Us caught on. It fixed the innocents doing nothing but wait role. You have fun being an Detective/Traitor but every other role is just... wait.
