Most sharks don't mate like normal fish, they mate like mammals, because the eggs hatch while still inside the placenta. So, Sharks do have penises

They're different enough biologically that they aren't called penises. They're called claspers, each male shark generally has two of them, and they're long cartilaginous shafts, each with a little spiked finger-like barb near the tip. The barbs unfold out inside the female while mating to keep the sharks firmly coupled during insemination. Frankly, it looks kinda painful! Ouchie.

I often know the Yogs are talking out of their asses but increasingly often that reflects worse on me than them. For example, somehow in my life I learned that that's *not* how most sharks' penises work. Sharks have two penises called claspers and most (but not all) sharks give live birth. I need to reevaluate what information I take in.

+Richard Owens I switched my community over to it for a week but it was less reliable than our teamspeak so we switched back. I really liked the chat though and still use it for that. But the configurablity of teamspeak for a large community is hard to beat.

technically, sharks are not fish, they have cartilaginous skeletons rather than bones. And as for reproduction, sharks have multiple ways of producing offspring, depending on the species. Some species lay eggs, others give birth to live young, and still others produce eggs that hatch internally and are born afterwards.
