No, the AI cheats like crazy in GTA5/online. The AI literally gets stat improvements to their car and it's impossible to speed away from them.

Yeah. I do enjoy when they talking about things, but it's gotten extreme lately and I'm sick of listening to full scale podcasts with absolute zero game talk. I've stopped watching most of their GTAs at this point.

@@elfarlaur No that's largely Osie, and she was still doing that here. They did a face to face recently, no Osie, no Bouphe and it was 100% game talk. Osie gives off a sense of complete apathy to GTA V, she merely holds the accelerator down as she drivels again.

This game mode looks so fun!! Such a good way to implement the bomb countdown! Also, one thing I’m always surprised about is the amount of money in game these guys have. Over 5 million by doing nothing but logging into the game, getting that sweet bonus from R* and doing races. I get they won’t spend it but they absolutely should for dumb outfits/cars.

I periodically remember that show and can never be sure if it actually existed or if it was a fever dream I once had. I think looking back, it was a BBC incentive to get kids into programming, which was admirable at the time seeing as home computers were fairly primitive compared to today, but it resulted in a bizarre TV program. Didn't they record the kids reactions separate from the 'fighting' so they could superimpose them on the screen looming over like God in a TV show? And they had to film the reactions after so the losing team knew they'd lost but had to feign excitement? It was like Robot Wars but for mega-nerds, the kids who were too dorky for the real Robot Wars. It was amazing Jake Humphreys career survived presenting that.

Actually Rythian, it depends on the type of spider. For example the Black Widow spider prefers to be near running water sources, like streams.

fun fact about GTA: if you turn on the sirens, the NPC traffic will move out of the way. E/L1 (honk) to toggle the sirens on and off, hold E/L1 (honk) to change to the "crossing an intersection" siren. And using the brakes, and not driving at full throttle all the time, makes it a lot easier to get around corners

Honestly the sirens in the cop cars are hit and miss. The AIs sometimes move to the side, but sometimes they move into your way to avoid you. It's much easier to drive at full speed when the AI are more predictable.

I remember playing a version of this with custom cars. And id be laughing my ass off watching armored karumas and sports cars players spent hundreds of thousands of dollars on went flying past and into every building as i sped around in a little dune buggy i stole and fully ugraded for 5 grand. That thing went zero to gone in about .5 seconds and could brake in an instant.

This one seems like a runner making no mistakes will win every thing... He can just keep out-running the cops. I guess if the cops play PERFECTLY with insane teamwork, maybe they could surround fan out and cut off his paths? The runner might be able to plan around that though (having too many possible paths)

Not that it really matters but just wanted to write I'm completely the opposite to some of the comments on here regarding in game talk vs real life talk. I have absolutely no interest in the game, whether it be this or TTT honestly as let's be blunt, the group of players here could hardly be called world class and have never been, so tuning in just for the game seems like an exercise in futility. I'd rather listen to the random discussion topics and so on because at least something interesting may arise as a result of those, GTA is just the background noise that serves as an excuse to get people together that otherwise might be busy. I might have this opinion because I don't belong to a social circle but that's how I've always seen most group content on the internet, an excuse to doss about but making content out of it.
