With the introduction of the new role into an 8 player game, its actually possible now for there to be literally no innocents in a round. 1 jester 1 sk 1 infected 1 detective 1 survivalist 1 phoenix 2 traitors.

well after you play a game for awhile, it's nice to spice things up. It's like one night werewolf with me, change up the roles a bit to add some zest to the game

The general consensus (even by the modmaker from what I assume) on the Discord I'm on is that the SK role was a bit overkill and isn't really fun to play, it makes the game a guaranteed baddy win, esp with Infected, innocents can't win period except through sheer luck (such as SK killing all the T's for them and then they all being grouped and gunning him down) there's no more deception or intrigue to it.

easily my favourite group of TTT players, great map too. one thing i'll say is INFECTED needs a serious buff, ben please increase melee attack speed and give a speed boost when the knife is equipped

Surely the Survivalist should be the role that tries to be the last one standing. Perhaps make the SK spawn instead of Traitors on occasion and give them a OHK knife in addition to the standard stuff everyone gets. Effectively turning the round into a kind of gmod Murder game once and a while.

A few changes to the classes Survivor- take away his shop and make it so he wins with every team. So all he has to do is live to the end. Infected- take away his punch thing and give him a one use defib that other infrcted have. SK- make it so he can see other people's roles

The Serial Killer is named after a Role in the classical Mafia or Werewolf style games that TTT takes inspiration from. Those games go between phases in which the 'town' collectively votes to kill someone and then the Mafia (or Werewolves, in that flavor) get to pick and kill someone. Just like with the Traitors, there are only a few but they know who each other are while everyone else is left unsure. Back to the point: the SK in Mafia is an individual who also gets to kill someone each turn, meaning each turn two people would die - one from the mafia, one from the SK. The SK is a faction unto himself, and only wins if he's the only one left standing. In TTT, it presumably works the same way - but to give him a bit of 'oomph' in the FPS setting, they gave him a knife weapon that's presumably strong enough to make up for being on their own, so long as they're coy about it.

I looked at the workshop page and it said this: "SerialKiller (Aim is to kill everyone, and your evil will show after 1 min and 30 seconds)" Either that means he has the default traitor knife and is even weaker than I thought or, since that is phrasing from gmod murder, he has a new knife that can kill someone in one shot which might make him a bit better but I still don't like his chances.

I've so far been rather fond of the new roles, but this SK seems a bit much. It just feels like a different infected. Now imagine if there were both a serial killer and an infected. With 8 people, the killers now tie the innocents. Heck, imagine if there were a jester. The killers outnumber the innocents! I dunno. SK hasn't been around quite long enough to know for certain, but my expectations are low.
