I dislike people talking about what civs are "important" civs because of how often the conversation is fundamentally disingenuous. Imagine an alternate timeline where everything happened exactly the same up until the age of exploration, where instead of European powers becoming dominant it was the Chinese, or Aztecs, or whatever. Now imagine the alternate Civ players complaining about how Rome and Augustus must have been "unimportant" and drag the game down by their inclusion. This is basically the attitude of people complaining about something like the Mississippians: they don't actually care about whether the civilization was important historically when and where it existed, but whether it is a "character" in the histories of *modern* countries that are "important", they just don't want to admit it. And to clarify, I'm not talking about people who simply weren't familiar with things like Indigenous American history or whatever, ignorance isn't a vice. I'm talking about the people whose reaction to not knowing about them is "I don't know about them, therefore I don't want to hear about them and they must not matter and why isn't there a 'better' civilization instead".

The Mystery Quests are amazing. Best Yogscast content in ages IMO. It's like nonstop weekly Yogsquests.

Mystery quest is genuinely the best thing the yogscast have done in years, second only to Ben's games night

Man I *really* don't like the undiscovered land fog in this. Making it VII is so distracting and unimmersive.

even weirder is that they are selling DLC for the fog of war tilesets, I'd hope one of the "sets" that comes with the game is a more traditional 'fog of war' but yeah i thought that was a weird decision from them to try and further monetise fog of war tiles.
