I think what this new double-jest thing boils down to is that we need more brown role representation to not be flooded only with pink roles. Most preferably it should probably be a interesting but not overly influential brown role. But there certainly is a hole in the economy finally to add a new brown role.

Lewis’ comments never cease to amaze me. There’s a reason why I quote him every so often. Also, I’ve had a thought about the two pink/brown roles. Thought I’d share as I’ve been thinking about it since Zylus mentioned it in the video. I feel like the Traitors should only see the Jester, (ie, not swapper or clown) if they keep the double roles. I can only see this being good if the two, Jester and Swapper or Jester and Clown, are in the same round. •This could balance the fact that the Traitors know one person is down and out; eliminating the obviousness of a brown role through process of elimination. •It basically allows for more chaos as no one knows if the other role could be a Swapper or a brown role. •This could be a problem as well, Ik this is less likely to happen due to it ruining random kills, needed to win, on the traitor’s side of thing. It would also make the rounds last longer. That’s about it, now that I’ve thought it over, it’s mainly just a fun idea. One could also add new pink/brown roles. Ik they don’t use their brains much however when the roles are that eye popping- it’s at play and one of these changes could be great and solve the problem of roles being used to the Traitors advantage!

The entire point of the clown is that the traitors KNOW who the jester is, but they dont know if they are safe to kill or not until the innocents are dead. The role would become pointless most of the time because the traitors will just kill them thinking they are innocent, and they won't even be able to fight back.

Edit: Please note that I don't think Duncan was complaining. It is funny that they now use the DNA scanner as a badge of authority when it is the least helpful tool in their series.

While not an air raid siren, here in Wisconsin, once a month, they do test the sirens for extreme weather conditions. Even when there are extreme weather conditions, most of us honestly just will go outside to watch the storm come in rather than take shelter. 11:00

They need to prevent it from being 2 pink roles, each traitor only needs to kill 1 person and it is a 2v2. At least brown roles tend to be more neutral and benefit from the traitors dying and even the Drunk is a more balanced version of the Beggar/Clown as they don't tend to cripple the Innocents. Pink roles were introduced to stop RDM not cripple innocents. It is basically a 4v4 with how things are now, except the traitors get super weapons and 2 people act suspicious trying to get shot. Since you now must wait for the traitors to do something only traitors should do you have to split up to avoid being destroyed by explosives... which makes it easy for Harpoon and other silent kills.

Ben's question about how you would deal with an air raid siren, my hometown had a lot of metallurgy plants, and they used a very similar sound as an alarm to tell the workers it was lunch time. Every single day at 12:00pm, we had a siren loud enough to be heard over a mile away for a full minute. So in short, yeah, ignore it like a car alarm 😂

On the subject of "what to do if you hear an air raid siren", I live near Plymouth, UK, where we hear them fairly often. If you are anywhere near the dockyards, you'll regularly hear a siren to indicate that there isn't going to be an imminent nuclear explosion. Cus that makes sense.

I live in Denmark and we test our air raid sirens once a year and i panic every single time because I forget. but I've also experienced it going off for real like four times in my life now and its scary as shit. i was in class one of the times just sitting in math, turns out it was a cargo ship that caught fire and the smoke was really toxic.

I think showing two perspectives at once is a novel idea, and is clearly being used to show the chaotic moments from more than one point of view but I ultimately think it should be abandoned. It’s certainly better now than back when they first tried implementing it- when they would have a vertical split screen showing both perspectives- but it is just near impossible to follow. You try to see what’s going in in both windows and you end up not being able to pay enough attention to either.

there needs to be more win conditions for brown roles and more interesting play styles. Mad Scientist is a great one that changes the way you win. other suggestions include: RSBomber: They do half damage, however they have a modified RSB, removes the camera, but make it so they can plant bombs on everybody, and can blow up everyone at once but has to RSB everyone (might want to reduce explosion radius). When RSBomber dies remove all their bombs so the beeping stops. Juggernaughty,: They see jesters and need kill everyone else. When they haven't killed in long enough (40 seconds -ish) they smoke (or some other clear indicator), and they get a heal on each kill. Agent: limited credits menu (Think gadgets). They get the same informant's 'stare at someone to fill a bar' but after they stare at someone, that person's role changes to "sleeper agent" giving the agent's credits shop. They can only do this once. The agents can only see jesters when sleeper agent is selected. We need more stuff like this.

The double jester should be a rare occasion, like happens 5% of the time, instead of what seems like 50%+. That first round, two people were killed by a paper plane (super op and next to no effort by the traitor) then it was 2v2 with the innocents not knowing the jesters. Definitely needs tweaking.

@@TheCoolCucumber I think they found that with 8 players, you need 2 neutral roles as it was too hard on the traitors (2v5) and same vice versa (3 traitors v 4 innocents). So I think there should definitely be a brown and a pink role. However, I don't mind it being spiced up with two pink roles or one pink role and no brown role (you need to pink role to stop rdm'ing). The double pink or single pink should only be every now and then though, not constant

Idea for a new role: Jester Detective. They can check bodies and look like the detective to everyone and they can see who traitors are immediately. But they can only win if they are killed by an innocent.

Iv heard afew air raid sirens in my life, due too the fact they're London does not have many of them up anymore as most of them were dismantled and the new alert system would change TV stations and send out texts during an attack of sevarity. But theres still that moment off "is this someone doing an art project or am i could to die" that your brain goes through, the surreal part of it is thinking people legit heard that sound in this very city while being blitzed... its really a scary though what it must have been like! stories my family have told me about it make me laugh as my grandmother was so used too it her an her sister eventually got more annoyed at having to leave the cinema as they would shut of the film xD

I almost get this feeling that killing a jester has become to much of a "win" for the innocents cause its only the innocents that do it and they tend to do it with no real care cause innocent vs traitor has become such a thing where they want to kill the jester if it looks like they are going to lose. I do think their should be a larger punishment for killing the jester maybe they cant be a detective in the next round or 2 or maybe they cant become a special role at all so they will only become a base innocent or traitor
