When looking for a collection, the Necronomicon: The Best Weird Tales of H.P Lovecraft is good, especially when bought with Eldritch Tales: A Miscellany of Macabre, but they’re relatively expensive, another good one (cheaper, and the one I personally use) is the knickerbocker classics “the complete fiction of H.P Lovecraft” there’s also a decent one on iBooks called Complete Works of H.P Lovecraft by Delphi Classics.

Sometimes small U.S. towns are clustered together and use only one police force but still have small private colleges. I grew up in a small town that bordered like 3 others and none of them had a police force. state police took care of our shit. in fact, some small towns became towns because the university/private college came first.

I played a game of Call of C'thulu at a convention a little while ago now and man was that amazing. I did play Professor Grizwald, no not Thee Professor Grizwald the geologist, my character was a former Archaeologist now Professor of History, also earlier time period setting. My Grizwald voice was on point if I do say so myself, though it a bit straining to do it after a solid 3-5 hour session. It was 3 sessions over 3 days of the convention, I was the only one there for all 3. Other where there for there for first and third or second and third session so I was a nice point of common ground for the party. Anyway half way thought the first session with some good rolls we found a Babylonian symbol of protection which when drawn started to glow when weird things happened. Then by the third session I had a tattoo of it on my buttocks.(And yes when weird stuff started happening and the other symbols started glowing I asked the GM and he did say "Yes, your butt starts to tingle" with a sigh and everyone else at the table laughed.) So at the end of the last session when we where being chased by Shadow-Jack The Ripper... again (Boss from second session) He clawed me in the back because we are where fleeing and I tripped over a rock, and all the symbols I had drawn on myself at that point burst into flames causing him to real back in pain. Then poof, we where all back home, it was all just a dream seemingly. Except when I checked in the mirror, the tattoo was gone. And right as we end the last session I faint. It was a fun game, our GM had alot of experience with LoveCraftian story-telling so it was a
