My first stop on my 10-day tour of Indonesia is Yogyakarta, a city known for its rich history, tradition, and culture, located on the Indonesian island of Java. I choose an affordable yet luxurious hotel in the Malioboro Street area for my base, from which I venture out to visit Punthuk Setumbu, Borobudur Temple, Mendut Buddhist Monastery, and a tree-cat-poop-coffee plantation known as Kopi Luwak Mataram, all while simultaneously searching for the best Nasi Goreng that Indonesia has to offer.
