@@Gabriel-l It's not really elitist. There is music out there that almost only can be appreciated when you know a bit of music theory. Uncommon poly-rythms and complex voicings and chord progressions sound like crap if you don't understand how it actually works. It's like seeing the bottom half of a portrait and saying the portrait doesn't look like the others so therefor it isn't as pleasant to look at, but if you take a step backwards and see the whole painting you are impressed. TL:DR Jazz music isn't as easily consumed as pop music due to not knowing how to listen to it.

I dont know if any one knows but at the age of 3 he could play any composition after hearing it once..for some reason as a teenager he was locked into Gospel and Stevie Wonder and A few others..His whole process of Music is FANTASTIC

Really great arrangement of that classic tune. Kim is incredibly capable and also a fantastic arranger. I've been listening to his little bits on KZbin for years, and he's a true modern master. So cool that this music is being infused with life by people like this!

this young man and his friends reminds me of a couple of two Asian groups out of Japan I use to listen to back n the day ( early 80's- late 90's and early 00's ) and they were Casiopea and T Square... I say this because their Dynamics are very similar in their placement and execution in the composition...Now after listening to these phenomenal young cats, have a listen to the group Soil & Pimp Sessions..
