Can't make a mistake? Clinical studies have shown on average this devide is usually off by around 1.5 degrees and between 0.8 and 1.5mm. Not bad for orientation, but 1.5mm off isn't any better than freehanding it.

Why would this be necessary having implant guided surgery without all that equipment nowadays…? Where surgeons, general dentist and prosthodontics can work together planning the case and the dentist places it with an implant guide with sleeves where there’re very very little chances to get it wrong… Well.. I’m not against tech and innovation on the career but I don’t find this one great, personally.

A lot of it isn’t that doctors can’t do it but rather to help act as additional guidance. There’s always some degree of human error but this machine claims it can greatly reduce it.

@Neniih01 Firstly, when it comes to a robot performing a task, it doesn't require wages; just a supply of electricity. Moreover, it never tires. Now, envision a distant future, perhaps 200, 500 years down the road, where visiting the dentist is as effortless as using a vending machine, but within the confines of a dental office. You step in, and with a quick scan, the robot, with computer-like precision, identifies all the oral health issues you're facing. It then presents you with a list of ailments and an estimate of the time required to address them. You choose the problems you'd like to resolve, and it goes to work-once again, faster than a human and with a significantly lower margin of error. As soon as you leave the office, the robot readies itself to assist the next person. Now consider that this is a robot, and once it's built, all you need to do is replicate the program onto another one, which will behave in exactly the same way. Secondly, imagine that we could have millions of operational robotic dentists, while human dentists would be the ones genuinely passionate about their profession. They would focus on researching and developing new dental techniques to teach the robots, as well as providing assistance during the manufacturing and all related processes of the robot production. Do you really not want to live in a world where those with a passion can pursue it, while the hard labor is carried out by precise and tireless machines, much like the one you're using to view this comment? And to achieve this goal of making all services more affordable, thereby ensuring accessibility for everyone, while maintaining the highest standards and staying consistently up-to-date?

@@stranostrani9212 this robot is not autonomous, it is used by the dentist to help in implants ,and as a dentist the robotic future you are describing is impossible, I don’t say this from fear of losing my job as I would probably be retired if that future ever happens , I say this because of the insane level of precision required in all aspects of dentistry ,the diagnosis alone is not simple enough for a machine to instantly give a result, and for the actual work itself I don’t even believe a robot is capable of doing the simplest dental procedure which is cleaning without damaging oral tissues..now what I actually this is the future of robotics in dentistry is exactly this video dentist assisted robotics ,ever see that video of a surgeon using a robot to do microsurgery on a grape ,that’s the future a dentist operating a precise robot to do COMPLEX procedures, because believe it or not every single simple procedure would still be faster if operated by just a dentist , like cleaning or a simple filling or an extraction , I could do an extraction or cleaning in less than 15 minutes, I could do a simple filling in 20 minutes or less , they are not worth getting a robot for

@@DragonRiderNetwork Proper software and a cheap 3d printer can make a guide that is more accurate for around 40 bucks a case. This is a very costly solution to a problem that doesn't seem to exist.

@@effefffffffffffffffffffff They are dentists that use both 3d prints and this robot.... You do know a tooth replacement is like 3k.

Whoever says it will replace dentists guys its only for implants dentists also do extract wisdom, puts braces, prosthodontist, pediatrics and more.......... even though who is that dentist that will buy a 200k dollar machine with 15k dollar per month for maintains? Basically 1 out of 5 million dentists! There are dentists I know still lacks to get the equipment but they are trusted actually. It is briefly a tool that will be used by very very famous big hospitals that are one in each continent. Just don't worry about it! In 1990s they said there will be flying cars in 2020 like LOL and you telling me this will replace dentists.

The most stupid invention. Dentistry should be about simplifying the procedure not about how to make it more complex and expensive. I pronostic 10 year in the market. Same as navigation, it has become obsolete before adoption. Good luck to investors
