He is an amazing character and the manga shows how empathetic, caring and kind Jae-ha is. ｡◕‿◕｡ In the anime he has the role of a comic character, but in the manga there is space to show his whole personality and not just the wannabe "pervert". I really like him the most... He got me and that's why I'm worried about what else will happen to him. (; ŏ﹏ŏ)

@@genevievelaplace7301 In my opinion Jaeha and Shinha had a similar past. They both were the ones to experience the conflicted feelings of their predecessors. Jaeha got beaten up by Garou. Moreover Garou was emotionally abusive to him, telling him how he would never be accepted by anyone and was cursed forever. He was his only caregiver. It doesn't seem he had contact to his parents. In addition to that he was literally chained in a prison-like hut. He was not allowed to fly around, but he also wasn't allowed to move freely in their village. Freedom is a human right that was taken from Jaeha for the first twelve years of his life. That's really rough. Ao is very strict towards Shinha and takes his anger out on him, too. He yells a lot at him. Shinha doesn't have a name at this point, which takes away any individuality from him. He has obviously no contact with his parents as well, since his mother committed suicide. Ao dies earlier than Garou and leaves Shinha at a very early age. Shinha is completely alone, believing he can't have friends, ever. The villagers are scared of him. Nevertheless he thinks he has to protect them, which is way too much for a little child. His power is also more complicated than Jaehas is. He suffers from using it. To me it is kind of balanced what they experienced. I think it's hard to say this one is more sad than the other one. The both suffered a lot.

Sadly we didn't got season 2 🥲 i wanted more of jae ha playing erhu. and there are still more things set up in the show that will make no sense if season 2 is not released ( of course we can read manga, but i am talking About it's real feel in anime 🥲) And it's been almost a decade, still we didn't have season 2💔 But i don't know why i am still hoping for it🤞🙏
