Something peoole overlook is how these high meta champions have insane base stats, like Yone having 345 base movespeed which is almost among the highest in the game, and Sylas having insane HP growth compared to almost any other champion which is why he's so tanky with little to no health items.

That's how Riot makes champions meta without needing to buff them constantly, just giving them better stats right off the bat. Every champion that is constantly meta has better HP, resistances and movement speed than average.

Akali is basically a tank. She has the highest base magic resist in the game, close to the highest base hp regen in the game and top 4 hp per level scaling as well. They keep these characters strong by just letting them stat check people with higher numbers and base stats it's so lame.

I saw a dude in Grandmaster-Challenger korea, who has made a really bizarre build but is so fukng strong: He goes for Rage knife, but never upgrades it to rageblade for obvious reasons, and then goes for shieldbow with BT, then sells rage knife and gets IE. Its so stupid strong early game, takes a while to spike after early midgame tho, but you are so stupid strong early on that you biuld a lead anyways.
