in india you can get the Z3's for 9000 rs or about a 105 usd. crazy good value

Wow, that's got to be cheaper than most other regions.

@@howeezy it's cuz most Indians unfortunately just can't afford it which leads to them buying cheep shoes and getting injured

I'm thinking of getting the Yonex 65z3 Kento Momota ed, are they still a good choice now? If so, I currently wear a 9.5 (it fits practically perfectly) but the only size they have is a 10, would it still be fine to get?
@howeezy9 ай бұрын
I would recommend sticking with your normal 9.5 size. Badminton shoes should be snug so there’s no slippage or you might get blisters

@@howeezy So I just got them and I tried them on but it feels tight on the upper part of the shoes (my toes). Not sure if I should return them and look for new ones (this time in person instead) because I didn't play with them on court.
@howeezy8 ай бұрын
O dang, that is unexpected. I would say that the Z3's just like most other shoes do loosen up a little bit once they break in. But if you think you need a full half size up still, then yes you should probably return them and try on size just to make sure. Good luck!@@Michael-ev2qx

how does the size feel? do you need to upsize?
@howeezy9 ай бұрын
Nope, both shoes were true to size. I normally wear a size 9.5/27.5cm for my shoes and these fit just the same as usual

Heyy bro Please suggest me a racket under $61 I'm professional player and I need a racket which offers fast swing speed + good smash power (slightly head heavy ) and high durability Please reply 🙏🏼
@howeezy9 ай бұрын
Hi! With a $61 budget I would say you can choose from the Yonex Play line. If you like head heavy then perhaps the Astrox 99 Play would be a good fit

This shoe has broken my ankle during badminton. Don't recommend this.. I recommend asics shoes
@MervManio24 күн бұрын
Probably a 1 in 100 case. They must not be a good fit for your feet, balance, bodyweight, etc... yonex shoes are top tier for badminton specifically, but trying them a few times in person is a good way to gauge that.
@Thechamp-y4i24 күн бұрын
@MervManio naa strongly disagree.. I have been playing badminton for 18 years. Those who encountered ankle problems seem to have worn unknown brands or yonex. BUT honestly, i did not see anyone with Asics shoes with a broken ankle
@MervManio23 күн бұрын
@@Thechamp-y4i I understand your point, as you've personally encountered those scenarios, but its such a small sample size only relating to your personal experiences. I can argue the same thing, I've played volleyball and badminton for over a decade, and Asics shoes are present in both sports. Ankle rolls and broken ankles are present regardless of the shoes. It comes down to the actual fit of the shoe to the player and what is optimal for their foot. That's why performance insoles that are custom made are so big nowadays to prevent injuries like that. Conditioning also plays are huge factor in ankle injuries, I've seen lots of players in various sports including basketball or tennis, that roll their ankle and walk it right off like its nothing. There are stretches, strengthening exercises, and performance enhancing equipment (other than shoes), that can limit or overall prevent serious ankle injuries. Although, preference will still matter from person to person, so if you feel like Asics is magic for your ankles, then there's nothing to debate about. I just feel like saying one shoe brand is significantly better than the other because of your personal experience takes away the opportunity for others to explore their options.
