just want to share the story, I bought comfort z3 2 months ago, overall very good but there is 1 thing that is very reluctant that the soles of my feet, especially in the thumb feels blisters. When I use my usual shoes (Li ning) there is no problem is it because the tread of the shoe is too thin?

Just had my first training session with the Comfort z3’s honestly compared to other shoes from different brands (YY 65z3, Victor A970 Ace, Li-Ning Blade Pro) they have the best support and feel right out of the box. Highly recommend if you’re ankles are prone to injury or need a little more support and cushioning

Great to hear! Yes I definitely think these are the best shoe in terms of both support and comfort. The 65's are great for comfort and cushion but think they are not as supportive as the Z's.

I've chosen Victor A970 Ace due to the sky blue colorway it offers. In terms of comfort the Z's may have won by a touch I guess. But it depends on the foot shape as well.

Hi Howard this is my first time watching your videos and I was really impressed. Would you recommend these shoes instead of the aerus Z or the 65z2 I’m a 60 year old man playing for 40 ish years and 218 lbs and looking for a lightweight support and grip shoe any recommendations.Chris

Hi Chris, the Aerus Z are definitely lightweight but since they are so light, I would say that they feel a little thinner for cushioning and support compared to other models. The 65z2 offers more cushioning and support than the Aerus Z while still being fairly light. I personally prefer the comfort Z3 because I like to have a little more rigid support. As far as grip, all of the Yonex shoes have amazing court grip. Hope that helps!

Hey Howard 😄😁 I have a question, I bought these shoes after seeing your video, I love these and how they feel in general but GOSH they make my feet stink, I had pc65 z3 in the past, asics and even rn When I wear my casual shoes, I NEVER had any shoe stink issue, I was wondering if your COMFORT Z had the same problem, or if mine could be fake idk, cuz this aeration clearly does not work

Wow, this is an interesting issue. Definitely never had this issue before. Perhaps you can try a shoe deodorizing spray or the sneaker deodorizer balls that you can purchase online to see if those will help.

how is this compared with Eclipsion Z3 and 65 Z3? I am confused which of these 3 pairs should I get? I heard Eclipsion Z3 comes with extra padding which makes it more comfortable.

It's more similar to the Eclipsion Z3 than the 65Z3. The Eclipsion Z3 is also more supported while the 65Z3 is softer with more cushioning. So if you are looking for a softer feel then go with the 65Z3 but if you are looking for more support then I would say these Comfort Z3 and the Eclipsion Z3 would be better. Hope that helps!

@@tranthienthanh7830 They are both quite similar being the more sturdy and cushioned models of Yonex's lineup. I think the Eclipsion Z3 feel just a tad bit bulkier but also that makes them possibly just a bit more durable. I personally still prefer the Comfort Z3 over the Eclipsion Z3.

@howeezy was planning to buy a new pair particularly for good cushioning of my knees (had patellar injury in the past). Is Comfort Z3 still the best choice in the market or is its successor or any other variant available?

@@breathbadminton thanks for replying. I don't mind having a little heavier shoes provided the cushioning is better for the knees. Is Comfort Z3 the best in this regard or would Eclipsion Z3 or 65Z3 or anything else be a better choice?

Thanks a bunch for the wonderful review. I have the pair of infinity 2. That’s an excellent shoe, but for me its low to ground and feel like I need more cushioning. I just have the 65 Z3 today, I am also not comfortable with them. What’s your suggestion on Comfort Z? Thanks.

Comfort Z3 are definitely my favorite shoe out right now. I feel they are the best balance between support, cushion, and not too heavy.

Personally I like the comfort Z3 more. The 65 is a softer shoe but I think it is has less support because it is less rigid. I personally don't like the shoes too soft@@BennySaragih-hyte

The 65 Z3 are a little softer out of the box. The Comfort Z3 have more support and a little more rigid out of the box I would say@@BennySaragih-hyte

Hi Kevin, I would say that both have very similar cushioning but I personally prefer the Comfort Z3 a little more as they are just a little bit lighter than the Eclipsions.

@@howeezy from what I know, Comfort Z3's are heavier than the Eclipsion Z3's though. The Comfort Z3's are less durable too.

⁠@@kevindd992002 Hi Kevin, I’ve been considering between the Eclipsion Z3 and Comfort Z3 for almost a month. I really love the colours of Eclipsion Z3 especially the wide version which is in black white red colours and also the white green women edition Eclipsion Z3. I went to a store to try both pair of shoes Eclipsion Z3 and Comfort Z3 and realized that the Eclipsion Z3 has really good grip even on slippery floors, but the downside is the front toe felt lower that I can literally feel the impact when I jump and land which I don’t really like it because I had long term knee injuries. The Comfort Z3 has so much cushion in it even on the front toe, you can literally feel the cushion on the front toe when you do a jump. To be honest, I don’t like the comfort z3 colour ways as I felt they are too sharp but for my knees I decided to buy them to protect myself. I personally feel the comfort z3 are not as heavy as we thought. Hope it helps

These shoes are not specifically made for wide feet. If you have especially wide feet, I would recommend going for the wide versions of one of Yonex's models like the Shb65Z Wide or Eclipsion Z Wide. Hope that is helpful!

Suggest shoes on cemented floor court for badminton

I don't recommend playing on cement floor all together as it is very very bad on all of your joints (ankles, knees and hips) but if you cannot avoid it, then I would recommend one of the highest end shoes like the 65Z3, Comfort Z3, or the Eclipsion Z3
