이 노래는 13살이 하기엔 감정적으로 불가능한 노래였음. 저 어려운 가사를 어떻게 이해를 해 첫사랑도 못했을 나이에... 비긴어게인에서 부른거 보면 이하이도 지금 와서야 이 노래를 온전히 이해하고 표현하고 있다는걸 알 수 있음. 이하이가 고딩 때 부른 rose랑, 25살에 부른 rose랑 느껴지는 감정의 결부터가 다름. 초등학생한테 이 노래는 너무 무리임

I have loved 유지니's voice ever since I heard the song "when we were young." When I heard the song, I almost burst into cry, even though I am too old to be touched by a young girl's song. She has something special in her voice. I would miss her voice. As a person who know both Korean and American social norms, I would guess that the cultural and environmental shock would have been too difficult for a young girl like Jini could overcome in such a short time period. The judges should have seen someone's potentials rather than techniques or one wrong choice of a song. 지니, please keep singing and posting your songs at KZbin. I bet you will make a good singer in the near future in the US or elsewhere, if you want to. Meanwhile I will keep listening to your songs at KZbin.

i dont even need to finish watching her full performance to say how this song shows her weakness. i mean she can sing but she doesnt have that versatility. she can only sing a certain kind of song that fits her voice. i wont be surprised if she didnt make it through the finals. this makes me realize how stable and clear Lee Hi's voice is, especially her low register.

Im not watching KPOP star anymore, even though this is the last season. I been watching it for Jinny and Lee seun Gun but now Jinny is eliminated. I have no reason to watch. I mean there's other contestants I like like Soomin & Khrista chu but i been not motivated watching som parts i usually skip and not listen to it. But i won't be watching the full ep from now on. I'll be coming here checking who won. Im hoping none of the trainee who has company win because its unfair cause they have their own agency(Sohee,Shanon,I think Minju? Im not sure about Sohee because she was in producer 101.) Even thought they have their own company, they can't get out of their contract because their company allowed them to be on the show its just that if they break the contract leaving for going to jyp or yg it'll cost them. I mean sohee gives on the JYP vibe being in a girl group and she's very pretty. But i have feeling she can't cause she's still consider as a trainee. Unless JYP OR YG buys their contract which would be lot of money but they're rich so having that one trainee would be worth it.

Though she was eliminated after this performance she did a good job considering her age and the fact this was her 2nd Korean song. The judges' critique was spot on. If she were to advance in Kpop she has to sing in Korean and with the correct emotional connection. At this stage she was just to inexperienced to handle it. In the future she has performed Koreans songs very well. If you can't win a show like this then you goal is to get noticed and sign as a trainee to continue your potential. Jiny did that and is now starting to emerge as of this posting she sang an OST for an upcoming drama. Criticism is hurtful at this age but it was also necessary for her to further develop. At this stage she is barely 14 so spending several years as a trainee is right for her at this stage of her life!
