Maybe he's lost hope or he's shocked and scared and doesn't know what to do from the shock. But yohan and Jinjo stayed standing and watching as if they were watching the end of a couple in a movie If instead of standing and silent they would call the ambulance and now Soohyun would be alive but they didn't think well they just kept watching
