The same way corruption makes it impossible to have everything be a public service greed makes it impossible to have everything privatized.. but the problem isnt with the system itself but rather with human nature that is inherently flawed.. and we have to find a balance so society can be atleast minimaly functional
@joshuapatrick4692 Жыл бұрын
Human nature isn't inherently greedy, studies actually show the opposite. The problem is how we are raised, where we are raised, and how those factors influence our morals.
@willbibbee338 Жыл бұрын
@@joshuapatrick4692depends on whose studies you look at. Maybe as individuals were less inclined to be bad. But I think in amongst other humans we are inclined to be more selfish. But I think evidence speaks for itself. Communism/socialism hasn’t been successful yet and it has always collapsed in the end or is currently experiencing a dumpster fire. And capitalism is currently also a burning dumpster fire. One that was wildly successful and experienced rapid growth but is facing a pretty imminent collapse/major reform. Human nature, whether inherent to the individual or as a product of being around other human beings, is obviously the problem here.
@joshuapatrick4692 Жыл бұрын
@@willbibbee338 I mean, the modern studies I was referring to show that humans are naturally cooperative with each other. As I said, we are taught Greed and Malice. Humans do not inherently fuck each other over.

i think your call to ignore the teamfight at the end is what won the game. you took mid and nexus turrets, opening the nexus. then, on next spawn rotation, with a few picks, the game was won due to there being no defences. gg

I'm a pretty bad low elo player , but since watching your content just for the calm and chill actually tought me what an amazing variable champ Yorick is and how many unusual plays he can pull off , I picked him up and got decent enough to carry/ co-carry-split low elo late games more often. I think especially in low elo people just aren't prepared for Yorick's quirkyness (that goes for my own team as well - ping spam gallore) xD

"There is a first time for everything" simply means any action or event that is possible will have a first occurrence, so its first happening should be expected. "Where there's smoke, there's fire," simply means that a symptom is traceable back to the illness, or a greater cause -- a warning sign of something greater. Naturally, there are instances of smoke point occurring without the flash point being reached, but combustion is still occurring, even if it's at a microscopic level we can't openly perceive.

minute 1:41 you should had returned to base to buy and keep pression on him with more items, if so, you would not lose too many minions even without teleport and would catch him pushing the wave that you almost died and burned ghost, if he pushes that wave and go to base you could freeze him and stopped his spike on 6
@HashiroAnimations Жыл бұрын
You (purposely or not) stacked and crashed a big wave on him, that's when you can go base and return with advantage without losing almost any minions and having the wave going back to you, even without the gold to buy sheen you could buy your cull (or what i think would be better buy, a boot and cloth armor to rush plated since he's a AA focused champion) and return without burning teleport and ghost. If you pay attention that's what HE did on minute 2:37 when he got back he got almost the entire wave XP

2:51 You talk about Anarcho capitalism, and you can't explain because it's idealistic. It can't exist outside of imagination. Capitalism NEEDS the state, or the monopoly of the force that works to defend the rights to property, and if you privatize the police than people without money are all fucked.

"Yorick collects pieces of gold from non player charecters which allows him to buy item coded to gather gold from players whom does not wish to die" - the unsimplified title
@joshuapatrick4692 Жыл бұрын
I'd have to disagree on the concept of privatizing everything, it falls into the same pit-trap of corruption and greed. Having full governmental control over all things is totalitarian and authoritarian, however having no governmental control leads to privatized libertarians taking advantage of the lack of oversight. Extremes on both sides will always lead to somebody screwing over someone. The realistic answer for any society is to go somewhere in the middle, however each country has a different battle to reach that balance. For example, America has a Democratic-Republic. Except ever since Reagan, politicians have been getting lobbied to help out company profits over people. The only way to fix this would be getting rid of lobbying, though how do you convince every politician to give up hundreds of thousands of dollars? It's a great example of a middle of the line solution having privatization slowly introduce problems that politicians have no reason to fix, since they're benefiting.
@kaapopulkkinen1961 Жыл бұрын
so you are an anarcho-capitalist too. great. just a reminder that native americans didn't war because they didn't have a concept of land ownership. also definitions of some words are complex and evolve through time so there isn't always one objective definition. i think you should think your opinions through some more.
@sirPokerick Жыл бұрын
in a sense, everybody who is at war is at war because they don't respect property rights, so yes they were so if words change meaning they have no meaning? what are they even changing then? :D
@kaapopulkkinen1961 Жыл бұрын
@@sirPokerick i don't know how native americans lack of conseptual land ownership can be the reason for their waring if societies familiar with that concept can also ignore it and make war. sounds like you are making a baseless claim. words are given meaning by people who speak them and who hear them. they are not discovered in nature. for some examples check out how the word "white" as a reference to a race of people has changed over its history to encompass many peoples that it did not before. Language lives with its speakers. When the people change the language changes to accommodate them.
@kaapopulkkinen1961 Жыл бұрын
i think i was not clear enough in the first point. You have claimed that native americans were at war BECAUSE they were not familiar with land ownership. But seeing that people that are familiar with it do make war also. it does not seem that there are any basis to claim that familiarity with the concept of land ownership prevents war or the lack of this familiarity causes it.
@kaapopulkkinen1961 Жыл бұрын
i'll elaborate on the second point also because it's interesting. Irish people were famously considered not fully "white" in usa for a time. same was true for Finnish people. There was actually a court case that determined Finnish people to be far enough removed from their mongolian heritage to be considered "white" and eligible for full citizenship. So the meaning of the word "white" was broadened and it had real impact on those peoples lives whom it concerned. Another illustration: You would maybe say that an objective definition for the word "man" is "adult homan male". But when used in the phrase "be a real man" it would have no meaning because you either are an adult human male or you aren't. there is no spectrum to be more or less real. So this implies there is a broader meaning to the word. like you would be a "real man" if you acted as society expects a man to act (brave, stoic, mindful, wearing trousers, etc). There are some constants but societies expectations change over time and this means that what being a man is, is dependent on the surrounding society, not some objective dictionary definition.
@sirPokerick Жыл бұрын
Yes, you can ignore it and go to war, but obviously what I mean is when a society doesn't ingore it and believes in it. For example one tribe is nomadic, let's say those are the ones who are laughing at it ( like in the Dave's clip) and there is another tribe which practices agriculture and have built stuff on land. They are going to have a problem. And I just think if they both recognized that the ones which have built stuff on the land, done some farming etc. , have the right to stay there without fighting, chances of war would go down. If you were to tell me - be a real man, I would want to know what you mean by it, because you would have some idea when you said it. If you were to tell me afterwards that a real man is anybody, I would think you trolled me when you told me be a real man because it didn't mean anything.
