Great content bro, loved the video and tried your build and tips in a few games, absolutely decimated a Sett and a Gangplank. I've been wondering what you would build vs an AP champ such as Morde or Gwen for instance? Do you go like a single Null-Magic Mantle and go the standard Iceborn + Boots into Spirit Visage second?

Yeah I definitely take an NMM early and MR runes. Iceborne is good, then whether or not I go spirit visage second depends on other lanes and whether or not I am taking a different lane. Getting a spectre's cowl is great vs AP poke but committing for the spirit visage is totally game dependent IMO. I'd encourage you to go with your gut as to what to build... voli can get away with a lot of different item builds!

Only guide I have seen on volibear top, he's one of the only champs with trynda that I like to blindpick, When I go into tanks (even mundo or ornn) I try to stomp them early and if their jungle isnt coming for a while I usually go blade of the ruined king to make them miserable,I only used it four times against bad players (in my opinion) so I still dont know how it would do against better ones, is it a good option?

So if you're fighting an AP champ or if the enemy lane is heavily magic damage, what do you take instead of iceborne gauntlet? Or do you just go gauntlet regardless?

Good question. Should've covered that in the video. I usually just end up buying an NMM early and starting my build with hp. It tends to do well enough against Gwen, Singed, Cho, etc. MR Runes and an NMM is almost 40% MR in lane phase which tends to be more than enough. For Morde, getting an early spectre's cowl is great against the hammer poke.

Teemo is hard play around bush in early game Also start dorans shield for sustain, one you hit 6 however his Q will not.blind you long enough foe you to kill him as he is very squishy, I try bait out his Q first then once that's done I rush him with E flash Q auto W then ult to finish

I'd like it a lot more if it had ability haste but the beauty of voli is he can build pretty much any item! I'm sure against bursty comps it could be really strong.

Thoughts on Titanic Hydra? I started playing Volibear in the jng, before heading to toplane because of his nerfs, and Titanic was a core item for the jng bear, and I still build now in toplane. And how is Doran's blade? I have tried it a few times, and it feels really nice in lane.

Titanic is promising, but I tend to think that for damage AP tends to be more stat efficient. The items AD voli builds have no haste except black cleaver, whereas cosmic, nashors, etc. have ability haste. That being said, I have a lot less experience building AD versus AP. Have you tried hullbreaker as a casual AD item? That feels better than titanic imo. DBlade is definitely good. It's sort of a personal thing - the way I like to play revolves more around shoving the wave, which DRing is better for. DBlade is better for those early 1v1 engages no doubt. The reason I tend to take DRing is because most people don't take those 1v1 fights with me early, and if they do, they tend to lose regardless of which item I have. Plus, DRing's mana regen is key with POM. Hey, don't let me discourage you though. Volibear is super versatile and if something is working for you keep rolling with it.

I've tried it extensively, but I feel like the full AP build just doesn't mesh with my playstyle. I like to be a tank and I feel too squishy with that build. Its teamfight impact is shoddy; super good for splitting though. That being said, if it works for you I wouldn't stop just because of my personal preferences.

@@ImpactMD-zd4kn haha i get it voli tank feels amazing. But i am more and more amazed how big you hit with AP, when you get going and won toplane you stomp 1v3 1v4 if not too much cc, its a fun and fast build! I love it and people always underestimate it! Peace!
