All the historic points that Greenberg made were "on point" But,...If you ever decide to visit York, Pa. Here's something you should Know{as a resident of that town for 23 years and someone who has relatives who still reside there you'll find my statements to be very true.1# York is a"Blue Collar town {with "Blue Collar" Sensibilities} and The Residents are Hard Working {and they "Play Hard"Too"} You never have to worry about where you stand in that town No Matter where, and No Matter what!?} The residents of York are not shy and are very vocal.{If you are easily offended or have "Tender Skin"?!...}then keep on walkin' 3 # The residents of York WILL fight on a drop of a hat.{Fist Fight}So if you dare instigate{or insult...} the residents there, They will NOT let it"Slide" And if you are foolish enough to embark on this type of behavior then Be prepared to deal with the consequences"{Because It will go down.{and make sure that you have Blue Cross and Blue Shield coverage.}4 # Stay In Your Lane. York does indeed have historical landmarks But it also has a long-standing issue of racism too, So if you decide to venture out and about, You might want to ask your tour guide, relatives who actually live in York,etc....about where to go and what times to get out of there,etc...No matter what Anybody says.....The way"YOU" look does not go Unnoticed in that town.{and anyone who tells you otherwise, Is full of S@#t!!! and giving you terrible advice. Now, that being stated, of course, there are good people in York But if you do decide to visit, Do Not ignore this advice:-)

Rail trail in york is a joke tho, unless you plan on walking/biking there dont plan on driving to that part of the trail
